How about penalties if doping is proven within a year of the race? In addition to a refund of premiums? The additional money could go to lower-ranked athletes, who not only would have had a better placement, but probably also additional income from the achievement of sponsorship targets.

I don't think it's possible to destroy Kristian. If Jan is in great form like he mentioned here, I think him and KB run away from the field but KB distances himself in the last 5k of the run. Or Magnus surprises everyone and leads into T2 and never gives it up

Totally agree with Jan. Doping is fraudulent behaviour and should carry a matching punishment. Once you start 'closing your eyes' to this criminal behaviour the sport is completely destroyed.

The main problem with doping is prize money, triathlon was more dope proof when it was just about love of the sport and fringe attention
