1:47 uhhh the o-ring seal for the pcv is still in the plastic oil air separator! make sure you re -use it or buy a replacement o-ring. i also be prepared to get a new plastic ring since it may be brittle now & prone to break apart when prying too hard.
Tjhanks for posting this! I don't like breaking these small fittings, hard to find new one, cheers.

If u do break it.there is a ford alternative part nr.ford mondeo 1.8 duratec use same ring
Shared Ford parts for these including the whole engine are cheaper too! 😂 I'd always go Ford for spares on most Mazda l engines
How you know it needs replacing
Is pcv valve in same location for 2016 Mazda 3 petrol. Thanks.
Would a bad PVC cause the car not to start? Son was driving home and it just died. I'm getting a 2177 error and it cranks over, but will not start.
Highly unlikey. A bad PCV valve is more likely to cause rough running or smoke blowing
Do u have to take any other parts off the car to see it? I have a 2010 3i.
I think you have to remove the intake manifold
th-cam.com/video/Mny4-srMdOU/w-d-xo.html I think this is what you need to do.
Im not exactly sure though.
Yep horrendous job for a 20 dollar part, whoever designed this part of the engine needs a smack 😂
@@chloeleedow7250there are cheaper parts inside your engine block, cope
What year is the Mazda 3?
Great question.
Trying find the ring mine is crack
