Hi Nick, your one of the 3 STOOGES 😂😂😂 doing a Fantastic Job, much appreciated 🌟🌟🌟👍👍👍 l can’t wait until I visit Anfield again in July on my way to the Lake District for my Holidays , l live in the New Forest, Hampshire. This Construction at Anfield, a BIG Thumbs Up 👍 for everyone involved, it’s L👀KING Fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻🌟🌟. YNWA 🍺🍺🥃🥃
Mr D. You have been out week after week providing us with updates, notably in freezing cold temperatures earlier this year...please dont feel the need to apologise for missing one lift. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and if you needed some time with family during one particular weekend that is your prerogative... Thanks for your efforts and keep up the great work 👍
Hi again Nick, the remaining roof will be taken off in two sections. The first will be the section that extends to front edge of the SKD stand, that will be lowered onto the pitch by the two cranes that did the first lift. The remaining section at the SKD end will be removed by the big external crane. Once that's done the remaining roof spans at that end can be installed which will connect the new roof with the SKD roof. Once they're installed the roof cladding at that end can be completed. Edit: I posted that before I got to the end of your video Nick and what you said once you'd panned round to the corner is spot on mate, that's exactly the way it will be done 👍
Hi Nick, the penalty spot and a large portion of the turf was prepped by the ground staff with a timber frame around it and a plaque resulting in a beautiful centre piece for Millie's garden, it looked great what they did with it and was a great tribute. I'll email you a pic of it if I can find one.
If you see where the tracks for cranes planted on the pitch, they’re both to the left hand side. So the comment regards the big exterior crane makes sense to be using that to lower the rest of the roof. Also makes sense how it’s only like 1/3 of the roof left to do. That’ll be interesting to watch, hope one of you guys is able to capture it. Thanks again for all your dedicated work covering this construction.
HI Nick Thank you very much for the update again yes it was a great thing that ground staff had done in presenting this to a legend of James Milner . I can see him every day like when we were in lock down trimming his grass. Thank you Nick
Nick another great video the stadium really is coming on can’t wait to come down and have a look keep up the good work your doing and again thanks and stay safe 💙💙⚽️⚽️
Mister drome your absolute bang on if the old KD stand would have had same cross bars has the new one getting built it probably would have had same roof as one another
Nick 16:44 the cut section can be denoted as the boards on the seats below the blue cherry picker on lower tier of Anfield Rd /SKD end. Silmilar to first section cut where the plasma cuts the steel molten metal drops 💦 onto the seats 💺 below so protected with sheets and plywood’s. Let me know if you fancy Trafford Water? 😀
I'm loving the connection(s) you've made inside Anfield, Nick!.. The Information they've given you, has been as close to accurate as you've shared. I think I speak for everyone, when I say that the 2nd and 3rd parts of the Roof removal, are going to be as exciting as the first. As you said.. I opens up a lot more for you to get the footage in. And again, your commitment, along with KC and PF has been fantastic. Thank you so much, from everyone who subs to you! - Gareth.
Great video, as ever. You're right about the truss on the new stand. It's enclosed within the roof structure rather than external like the one on the Main Stand. Early plans did have an external truss but that was later changed to what we see now. I might be mistaken, but I think it was because of the visual impact when seen from the park. Too imposing with the external truss.
Great Vid again Mister D. Really admire your commitment to bringing these updates. Between you all you've got away supporters like myself checking you tube every few hours for new updates. 😅
Hi Nick, great work as always. Might be a silly suggestion but that supposed damage is just 2 piles of ropes that the cladders use for their safety......I think! 🤣👍
That's interesting about the proportions of the materials that the grass is grown from. It was mentioned elsewhere that the grass is dying because its not been watered, not a shocking revelation surely, but neither has it had the benefit of the mobile pitch lights
Great video as always pal. Also great dedication considering an evertonian 😂, pleased you stayed up by the way , season wouldn't be the same without our Derby days ,,,
Thanks for having a look at the front span damage Nick. Think it's either been repaired/replaced or it's just the lighting and angle were different between the 2 videos. Was alot sunnier in your weekend video which might have emphasised it abit more. Thanks again mate 👍
i think the 750 ton crane is to support the Sir kenny Dalglish stand roof when they remove the two steel RSJ`s to open up the view from the Anfield road end until they join the two roofs together
Hi, I'm subscribed to your channel and I'm a fan from Thailand. After the field is finished, activate it. I want you to include a clip from before to finish. I use a translation app to type to you.
loving the footage you and KC, Paul Frost are doing, loving it. one thing I am noticing and not sure if its been highlighted, the Brickwork looks different Colour on the central uprights to the side brick work and the cross beams in between, any reason?
Thanks Nick - great video as always Do you know if they are keeping the recently installed “rail seating” in the lower tier - for me it felt safer so I hope these are retained too - it’s not easy to tell on artists impressions of the new stand. (appreciate not everyone wants to stand however)
Hi Mr Drone. Great video updates on the new stand works. With the news of LFC buying Melwood training ground back would you consider doing a video of Melwood to see what it looks like now after the first team moved out.
I think the damage he may be talking about is the way the non clear panels are cut on a really rough way at the edge where the join the clear panels. I think on all the joints between all the different sections they will cap them off so you won’t see that cut and the water won’t get in. I think that’s the bit he means
Hey Nick, just seen another video where the yellow crane on the pitch appears to be moving into position ready for the second roof section to come off, not sure if that will be tonight or tomorrow, i suspect you will have the info but it looks like it will be tomorrow at the latest maybe
Hi Mr Drone. Great videos as always. I'm curious, I can understand how they can take the roof off (cutting into small sections and lifting) without damaging the terrace below or the pitch. But how do they remove the concrete upper tier without it falling and damaging anything below it? Thanks
People asking what you will make videos of once they have finished anfield road and Everton’s ground. You can then make videos of them knocking Goodison park down. That would be interesting to watch as is watching them take the old anfieod roof apart
Just found the channel in the last few days lookin at the anfield road stand. Watching from cork and loving it. Would it not be logical tho for the crane to the right and the crane outside the Kenny dalglish to shift the 2nd part of the roof? Couldn’t they cut that outside and leave the rest of the inside work carry on? Could be completely wrong tho:).
there is a reason why the yellow crane is insanely high. I think they will lift the second one the same way as the first by the cranes on the pitch and drop it in. but they will attach it afterwards with the big yellow crane and lift it out to the outside and then dismantle it there. that would safe loads of time for them.
They did the internal truss because they could. An internal truss would never have supported the main stand as its almost twice as wide/large/heavy. Basically the main needed the huge truss, Im sure they would have had an internal one if they could.
Hi Nick. Great work as ever, I just wanted to ask about that concrete section at the end of the SKD stand where it meets the new Anfield Road stand. Surely that is being taken out before the big crane lifts that new corner piece into place? Would be great if you could catch that work going on as it is difficult to envisage just how that corner fits in. Thanks again for what you do.
Fantastic video again will you have a fly over the goods railway also the land opposite stanley park the other carpark could be building a multistory carpark on it
Hey MD keep up the good work.. just wondering if you had any information of when the old upper tier will be removed. Also if the lower section will be reprofiled
Hi Nick, thanks for the continued updates, which for the past week have now become daily. Just a quick question regarding your branded clothing, can you please share the link for the company that makes it for you, you did share it months ago but I don't remember which video it was. I'm looking for some of my own to be produced, thanks for taking time to bring us these great videos, I for one really appreciate it, thanks mate 👏🏻👍🏻
Hi Nick, as always very informative video. Can I ask what is probably a dumb question. Is the top tier of the old Annie road stand being removed or is it staying in place? Keep up the great work and well done to your lot for staying up!
I love these videos! I'm curious to know if away fans seating will remain in the Anfield Road End next season? If not, do you know where their seating will be relocated to?
Will upper tier of old Anfield stay, or will it be destructed? If stay, it seems like the terraces are not simietrical (in same line) with new build stand.
Hi Nick, the old top section of the stand will be remove? If you look at the design drawing, posted by This Is Anfield early in the project, the top section will be removed. If that is the case, have you heard anything regards to this? Thank you, cheers. A fan from Malaysia.
Does anyone know if/how the existing red brick and white cladding/windows ‘gable end’ facade of the ARE (ie where it meets the SKD stand) is being demolished and rebuilt?
Looking at this new footage taken from the Main stand. At 1.41 mins in. th-cam.com/video/MII3ef6T7xQ/w-d-xo.html. Looks as though the old upper tier will stay. No need to demolish. It would also explain why no seats have been removed from it. They'll replace the seats beneath it with corporate or walkways. .
How are you gonna cover the demolishment of the current stand then. With it being under neath the stand. The upper tier and outer shell of the current stand all needs demolishing
@@RictaScale.Official hi I think it will be tied into the old top tier if they took the old top tier out I don’t think it will be ready before new season I might be wrong but in my mind it’s will be tied into old tier
If you mean the lower tier, it’s removed to prevent fire damage when cutting roof in half. Plus if you look close there is a temporary support tower built to hold up the cut end of the remaining roof.
Gotta say, that bit of cladding in the corner (Kenny Dalglish stand) looks really naff. Should of done it in that clear stuff to look uniform. My only disappointment in the build so far. 👎

If you look it the corner of the Annie Rd/SKD the seats have been covered as they were the other day, presumably where they will be cutting above.
As fast as they’re working I cannot see them finishing before the 2nd weekend in August.
They want the first game away.

Great work Mr Drone. Do you know if the bottom tier of the Anfield Road stand will be regraded as part of the works?
nick what about the upper tier if you look at the new stadium plans they would need to remove the upper teir as well
I love these videos! I'm curious to know if away fans seating will remain in the Anfield Road End next season? If not, do you know where their seating will be relocated to?
No change mate, the away section will remain where it is in the lower tier at the main stand end.
Away fans will be seated where they are now, but in a narrower and higher strip over two tiers.
Yes with less restricted views
Does the top tier of the old stand get removed ?
As regards the "Damage" on top of the new stand. would it have been just climbing rope, as we know they have used it
I thought this too
Will the ARE stand have solar panels fitted on that massive shiny roof?
Will upper tier of old Anfield stay, or will it be destructed? If stay, it seems like the terraces are not simietrical (in same line) with new build stand.
Am I right in saying after this there wont be a single column/post in the stadium restricting views?
Hi Nick, the old top section of the stand will be remove? If you look at the design drawing, posted by This Is Anfield early in the project, the top section will be removed. If that is the case, have you heard anything regards to this? Thank you, cheers. A fan from Malaysia.
Are they going to demolish the lower and mid part of the stand where the seats are? Then rebuild?
are they gonna start expanding the other stands as well in the future.
How did they get the large cranes onto the pitch?
Does anyone know if/how the existing red brick and white cladding/windows ‘gable end’ facade of the ARE (ie where it meets the SKD stand) is being demolished and rebuilt?
What are the things on top of the new Anfield Rd stand roof. Will they be there permanently ?
Hi nick how long does a battery last on your drone,
Wonder who will get the money from the scrap metal?
The builders or the club or the company who are scraping.
Do you know what they did with badge from the stand .
Surely it's not just the roof to come down, doesn't the old top tier has to come down too?
Hi Mr drone can you answer a question please 🙏 do you know if they are going to do the kd stand
No

Not sure that was damage. Could well be clothing, machinery, anything sat on top. But it all looks tip top again now anyway.
Hi nick, just a question is all of the front roof going to be clear ,as it looks different at one end where the last lift will be
@_officialmr_drone_uk0 absolutely brilliant coverage of all the work thanks for your time and effort for all the fans to see

Will Anfield be hosting concerts this year?
No concerts this year due to the work going on with the stand. We will have concerts next summer 2024

I hope to visit Anfield and the new Everton for a concerts at some point
