- made this in a couple days based on some videos from the game, few issues and things i'd like to change to closer resemble the actual game. i was considering modelling the NR garage for assetto to use in the intro but decided against it due to time constraints.

i want to say thank you for all the support the video is receiving! there are a few issues in there i wish i had fixed now with the attention it's getting, as well as modelling a replica night runners garage to use in the video. i may still do so but as a thank you i wanna show you guys what else i've been working on in assetto.
here's a few preview images of a map i'm working on for you guys which is a free-roam 1:1 scale recreation of an IRL hotspot for racers back in the day in my city: imgur.com/a/oGNEtxI
i'm still in the modelling process but test builds so far have provided hours of fun for me and my friends, and i hope it can do the same for you guys too when it's out! if you'd like to stay updated feel free to subscribe as i'll probably post some preview videos soon to this channel.

Imagine if night runners whould be based on assetto corsa and with beamng damage, it whould be such a perfect game
not with how the ai is currently set just pushing you outa the way like paper
from what i've seen and heard i actually like that the gameplay has it's own sort of personality to go along with the amazing aesthetic. for sure tho a game like that would be so sick

@honeydip26 Considering that it's shown to be 1996 and the E46 only began sales in 1999, unless you can time travel then no, he can't import it.

@@DZYHH just to follow up on this, i misread your original comment. the 'camera shake' in the tatsumi pa section is a combo of drone cam as mentioned but i also used after effects expressions to create a more natural looking shake. i had intended to add a bit more dof blur and shake using the same effect to high-speed scenes but the render time was starting to get out of hand so i decided against it. hope that helps!
@@gr666ve no your first reply was what i was looking for :) i do the same as well but your movement was so smooth i thought u had some sort of a dolly cam mod of some sort. Ill try to master the controller movement with the drone cam and try to make it look nicer
@@DZYHH one tip i can give is that less is more, being smooth with smaller inputs will give better results. you can also fine-tune the speeds etc in the drone cam settings but at least when i tried to lower the 'roll' speed it didn't seem to work for me at the time, so i just dealt with those looking pretty abrupt. i'd love to see some of your work if you ever post them!

good work anyways, i just keep getting reminded of how bad assetto corsa cars sound like. there's only the robot fartcans and the overdone nohesi mods, no in betweens. tbf its an old game as well but it ticks me off a bit everytime i play it lol
