that 0:02-0:06 car fade-ins really looks like PS2 Ridge Racer and japanese racing game era intros, and the pianos really reminds me of the musical lick from "Perfume-Polyrythm". It's perfection
Well done. I can see 90s vibe, Smokey Nagata Supra, "Sonny" GTR, Devil Z vs Blackbird, F&F Evo(?), and end it by the night runners starter car Sannis Livisa 180RS a.k.a Nissan 180SX
If you're talking about the Evo in 0:57 that isn't a F&F movie Evo, infact the one used in Tokyo drift was an Evo 8/9. though it looks similar so I don't blame you
I think that's what makes it perfect. Crash happens, pure disaster. But that's just the risks you take in this culture, the music will keep playing, and people will keep driving

I know i'm a bit late to this video but i recently discovered it and wow.. I grew up with games like nfs ug2 and the tokyo xtreme racer series and i've been fascinated with japanese car culture ever since, and this definitely feels like a genuine love letter to that 90's era of japanese street racing. Those Gran Turismo level camera work, with the trailer level driving, is so well done. You could pass this off as an official GT trailer with a few changes.
Amazingly done video, but uh... imho the magic of this song particularly in Night Runners, is when the volume of the song increases and goes alonng with the rumble of an engine when driving inside a tunnell... but regardless, this video catches the lovely vibe of MOTHER-FUCKING-NO-HESI, lovely!
This video should be a starting intro when you launch the game! it gave me old Gran Turismo 2 vibes when i loved to watch the opening intro and never skipped it.
this is truly beautiful, this is the type of video i wanted to see for such a long time. i really hope to see more of this type of videos. this short video made my day:3
wow, great video, perfect pick for the scenes, music, illumination, cars... everything just merges perfectly into a 90s jdm vibe video. It looks super pro, this video could be a promo for AC.
I just went through the actual Wangan highway last April, and high speed passes still happen on the regular (mostly Sundays.) I gotta tell you guys, you HAVE to experience it at least once. It's the absolute pinnacle of urban lifestyle.

The 180sx entering the highway symbolizing the starting point was gold
I thought of it like restarting it all after that crazy crash POV
@@NakamuraZenki_ I got the same impression. Had a huge crash but couldn't stay away. Starting fresh.

Im glad that japanese car culture is going from phonk to edm/dnb/garage/house, big improvement
🏠
House :)
I’m super glad also, phonk is good but slightly overrated/overhyped imo
phonk is good, but i'm sad that eurobeat is less associated with car culture, mainly the JDM community
Who cares at this point, phonk, eurobeat, edm, house, doesn't matter, it's kino and always will be kino, that's how i love my japanese car culture
the color grading, the cinematography, the lighting... kino
