Not in my country (Denmark). We drink at partys, but it's not like shows depict it, where you just take a drink when coming home from work or having a conversation.
I guess you mean the frequent casual drinking? For Germany it would be accurate. Though people drink less alcohol during work hours than 10+ years ago, but it still happens about two times a week. Usually before or at lunch. After work its much more regurlar, either with friends, collegues or alone.
Its so annoying when people talk shit about people who are handed things down or those who come from a rich family . I am from neither so I am not projecting but they still have to hold it together . The company doesn't work itself . It can still go down the competitors can take over . Is it not their merit . Does someone always have to work to and come from a poor starving family or better yet no parents since childhood for you people to appreciate someone's efforts
What the hell do you think would happen? The person who he was grooming took their money and ran away and was arrested. He took her and groomed her which he should because she has interest in working, she has a background in marketing and has experience and she earned it.
The way Jay talks in this scene is SO misogynistic it's actually sad. But that is a boomer talk alright. The way he tell his daughter to "present" herself UGH
Let me get this straight... Looking good for the job or position you want.... Is misogynistic? Well...i think i should try that the next time I go to my office.
It didn't seem misogynistic considering he said that about himself too, that he worked on himself when he was on the cover of the magazine. He meant it for both, men and women.
Interesting reactions from both Claire and Mitchell to hearing Jay spanked Gloria Claire resorts to drinking where as Mitchell wants to know more.
Mitchell didn't hear it DIRECTLY from his FATHER's mouth lmao that kinda different
I say this as a queer man myself: the gays LOVE gossip/drama :D
I don’t drink. Does the average person actually drink alcohol as depicted in entertainment? Or is this just the influence of alcohol company money?

@@85Zeroangel Same here in Canada.
I’d say this is fairly accurate, more so if your retired like Jay is, he just enjoys his scotch though it is hammed up for broadcast tv
In my country England, I think it is depicted quite accurately.

"It's a buffet. They'll be fine"
0:29 the camera zooming into Claire’s reaction, followed by the “ok”. 😄😄😄
Lol Claire talking about merit like she wasn't literally handed an entire company that her daddy built
