This is awesome, it gave me a tonne of inspiration to use a blue dragon in my current campaign. Keep up the awesome content, this was far more engaging and in depth than reading the Monster Manual summary

I'm very happy you mentioned that their prominent horn always has two points. I had it to be an interesting detail when I first learnt it and I wonder if their is any advantage to this shape, for combat, burrowing or whether it's just for attracting mates

Hello Derek ~ so, I left you a rather scholarly comment (in length LOL) on your Green Dragon vid, about this ~ the Sorcery Pact (with Drake Warden benefits and more) has been going well. Oddly, this other unknown Blue Mountain Dragon has appeared, since the Green Dragon Pact and seems to be "watching" (which is a bit weird) and I think he also is a graduate of the Mage School, just like the Green Dragon.
The Mage School in question is more for SORCERY , it is NOT in the Faywild Forest, its close to the Vampire Castle where my Fay Vampire Enchantress keeps her own "hoard" of magical amulets, jewelry, enchanted mirrors, vampire finery, etc. Cant use much of that in the Faywild, so she stashes it in the Vampire realms and uses portals when she needs to. She mostly just lives in the Faywild as a Gypsy with the Gypsy Caravan, usually. Its a fun life of horsing around with Centaurs (ha ha, get it?) and what not. She is a diviner, she has a pact with the Green Fairy because before she was made into a Vampire, she was one of the Arch Fay royal family. They miss her and complain that she doesnt visit, so she comes back with the Gypsy Caravan to see the Court, incognito. So; her life is fairly peaceful in the Faywild: just doing diviner things with the Caravan, speaking with the Centaurs and giving them gifts, boons, favors, etc. She visits the Fay Court with the Gypsy Caravan "no questions asked", and leaves when she wishes to go.
This Pact with the Green Dragon is really a pact of necessity, she has called upon many of her contacts in the Fay Court to get it and keep it, out of requirement, not preference (although, the Green Dragon is very fond of her, seems very happy about the whole thing). They both have "roots" in the Vampire lands ~ so, in the process of all that, this Blue Mountain Dragon has stepped forward. His territory is in the could mountainous area of plateau above the castle, he is worshiped by a cult of blue half dragon sorcerer's and at least one village of Blue Orc's. He perceived her through scrying, and he knows the Head Master of the Mage College, they play chess and are otherwise good friends (the Head Master, similarly knows her Green Dragon, but see's him less frequently because he lives in the Faywild most of the time. He has a lair in the Faywild, known to the Fay Court. )
Not sure what to make of it. The Blue Dragon is a bit of a voyeur. LOL ~ is it practical to have 2 pacts with 2 dragons? That seems awkward, in terms of the logistics involved. Is it likely they would get jealous of each other? Even pet cat's dont always get along (unless they are brothers) Kind of a head scratcher. ~ Because the Fay Enchantress Vampire is in fact just that (FAY) ~ she does get "visits" from creatures in the Astral form relatively frequently, she is able to perceive them and help them with various things, in ways that nobody else can. She also consorts with the Druids occasionally. She went through a phase of "drinking at the tavern" with the Dryads for awhile, I was a bit worried she was going to become a stripper LOL. What can you do? LOL Thee Gryphon Roost Inn, has her favorite fruit liquor's: it really is very nice, they always have flute music.
So ~ she does often get astral form visits from various creatures, often times they are Faywild in nature. Fundamentally, all intrinsically magical creatures are Fay in origin, as far as that goes, some are more distant from the Faywild than others. She is able to see the Blue Dragon WATCHING HER. He seems perplexed that she is FAY in origin. (Not usual for Vampires). When Dragon's appear to her in the Astral, they look like giant spirit clouds, its hard to describe. Its a bit like a draconic form that also is in the shape of the Aurora Borealis. He appeared to her in this shape, which is flattering. But not conclusive. What are the terms, exactly?
The treasure that this Blue Mountain Dragon holds is not particularly valuable either in the Faywild or in much else, outside of his own domain. Its vast caverns of blue and purple crystals (looks like Amethyst, from the scrying visions). Sure, OK. Pretty. But what good is that pragmatically, once you leave the Orc Village? Can you take that with you to other planes? To make a 2nd Pact work, there has to be more compelling reason involved here than just some Amethysts, even if they are super pretty (yes, OK, very nice). There have to be TERMS to the pact, it cant just be visionary.
Something that would be very helpful in her life right now, is a UNIT OF ORC SOLDIERS. How about 7 Orc's as a body guard? Would they answer only to the Blue Mountain Dragon, or could command be transferred to her? The whole Orc Village + Blue Dragon Shrine seems a bit violent, that is not her speed. Its difficult to get a word in edgewise, with the Orc's, they dont take command well. They have to be WILLING soldiers, she cant force the matter. She doesnt want to show herself at the Draconic Shrine with out a Pact already in order. Its sort of a betwixt - and - between situation. TBD (to be determined. LOL)
Its true that the Green Dragon DOES fulfill most of her needs already: but there is this outstanding question of BODY GUARDS which are required to actually FIGHT FOR HER. Orc's are more practical for that, than Faywild creatures. Trying to get Vampires involved, seems unwise. She mostly does not seek the Vampires unless there is a specific reason, usually. In looking further into it, apparently pacts with Blue Mountain Dragons are exceedingly RARE. Mostly this one seems interested becuase he can see that she is FAY. To him, she looks like a fairy (sort of. What can you do? LOL). What about the Drake Warden part? There are alot of loose ends here ..............but, it does seem very alluring. Once you have a pact with a Dragon, others join in? Like cats on a bed? LOL
