Some of those stone pieces on the floor look much older than 18th century. I’m guessing lots of churches have been built over much older structures as was the Roman way.
Maybe ol’Vlads statue is covered for protection from construction etc. I’m looking at the height of it when compared to the pic you flashed up of it. Praps, praps not. Just a thought.
The crypt that you saw, the Cantacuzino family crypt, presented as "greek immigrants" to Romania Principalities, are the direct descendants of Eastern Roman Empire nobility. So far, we know that " Alexios I (Roman emperor 1081 to 1118) send a general called Kantakouzenos as a leader of the expeditionary troops that defeat the invaders and established the order in the zone..."
Wow, that people’s palace is mad!
Nice fridge magenet! 👍🏼

Have any of your friends said WHY they’re converting to Catholicism?
Sure, we always talk about it. It's usually because they like the community and structure of it, as opposed to something obscure like paganism.
@@_the_wessex_nomad_ yeah, that makes sense. What with what’s going on in the world and all that.
