Good Evening - thank you! The Insulation Test (INS) is designed for to be similar to a Megohmeter test which will test the insulation to ground. While a motor can have a good insulation to ground, but it can fail phase-to-phase, and vise versa, which is why we measure Resistance between phases, dynamic rotor/stator health, and just as important for breakdown of insulation is the contamination test (DF/C or Dissipation Factor and Capacitance).

Hi Bob - I agree. Best recommendation would be to quick save and then import into the software and add the necessary information with the computer keyboard.
