    Nice review. I just picked these up for my 66 Plymouth. Good product for the price, drop-in replacement, and not as special looking as some of the other options.

    I have this one on my motorcycle, black chrome finish cause of the bar gives it an awesome look when its switched off. and when its switched on its better. the low beam is ok and the hot spot actually helps see pot holes etc. the high beam is awesome, i think its pointed a little down in this review, however the road is bright, where it actually matter, on the sides everything is visible below the cutout. and price wise its lesser the KC or JW, actually nearly 70%. KC -242 USD, JW Evo 2 - 289 USD and Trucklite - 174 USD. Therefore a cost to benefit analysis would put Trucklite at the top, however this is just my 2 cents. you guys are the expert.

      I realized I got the GE version of this. But I assume they don't differ a lot. Definitely a huge step up. High beam very right, the low beam can use a bit more punch.

  • @chaunche81
    @chaunche81 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    @Headlight Revolution Is there any way to replace the LED? Mine went out and I was told that I have to replace the entire headlight, which is quite pricey at $165-$250. Sucks that truck-lite made it so you can't just replace the LED.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The LED chips are built in, so they aren't replaceable. Reach out to who you purchased them from, they'll likely still be under warranty.

      @@HeadlightRevolution that would be awesome. Seems like they are not that expensive but look pretty similar to a truck-light, would be interesting to see what the pattern looks like and the lux #. Thanks you guys, it definitely is a headache to choose which lights to purchase.

    • @jonathanwoo6597
      @jonathanwoo6597 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It looks like GE has recently changed the look of the Nighthawk round lights. But when I compared the old Nighthawk vs. the Truck-Lite they look identical. So it appears that the Nighthawk is just a rebrand of the Truck-Lite with some very minor cosmetic changes.

      Have you done a video of retrofitting H4 halogen enclosures with LED bulbs and which ones work the best? Would think that an enclosure designed for halogen wouldn't work nearly as well with a LED retrofit when compared with housings that were designed for LED from the get go

    if you're only using one headlight to show us real world road look.....it's a fail. two head lights will give you an entirely different view. those hot spots, there will be two of them side by side. much brighter. wider. etc. if you really want to show how the pair of headlights look, please use two. love the detail of information on your videos. but your examples are killing sales n interest.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Michael,
      Thanks for your input, but in the studio setting it's tough to get a two headlight setup. We would have to have the vehicle and install each headlight to get the correct look. Instead we keep it all the same and show one of each headlight we review.

    • @CactusJack252

      michael bigchief for the people that own a motorcycle this is a perfect test. Not every bike can run a light bar and extra lights. That can cost up to if not more then $1,000. I would rather get a LED headlight that can out perform 3 halogen lights put together.
