Thanks for watching!
MY apologies in advance for the terrible focus at many times, all the chrome way playing hell with my Sony's auto-focus.
Try a white background. Focus is usually contrast-based.
@@Greatdome99 I flipped my workmates back to black, all sorted.
I'm about halfway through building my "standard" wheel, having inserted all of the front spokes. I was struggling with the instructions and wanted to watch another video of assembly. It's my first subscription model/1/8 scale assembly, so obviously my first wire wheel assembly as well. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who needed some additional insight. I'll finish my wheel this morning after watching your video. Thanks, I've already fixed the door hinge as well. I saved the wire wheel assy. for last.
Yeah this was my first time building a wire wheel and it was a bit of a steep learning curve but I was so happy with the results when it was done. I have to go back and flip that door hinge.
@PitstainHobbies Thanks, I finished mine this morning and you're right, they're decidedly better than the "easy build". I feel better finishing it, so hopefully the next 3 will be a little easier. 😀
Good job!
Thank you! Cheers!
So much shiny! Excited to see how this one turns out!
Thanks bud, and yes so shiny it was blinding both the autofocus on my camera as well as my own eyes....LOL
Great video Ian!
Thanks Donnie!
Putting a drop of superglue on the spoke once it's in the wheel rim properly would make it easier perhaps.
some people use double sided tape and some blutac, but crazy glue may haze the chrome.
actually reads "Touring Superleggera"
Thank you for clarifying that, makes perfect sense as this was the epitome of a true touring car.
No! The felt is not "pretty well centered" (8:08). It's pretty well off-center. ;-)
Pretty well centered is used subjectively in my builds...it is off a bit but once the frame goes on it mostly hides my screwup..
Do the instructions show that you're supposed to turn the screwdriver with the tweezers also?! Great job with those spokes!
Guess they didn't want to take pictures of their fingers, Thanks bud the first time to do the spokes is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang it's easier than building track links.
Shame about stage 5 Pack one
Shame about what?
You didn't get the email about the door hinge? @@PitstainHobbies
I've sent you the email I got!
@@malcolmt3274 Ahh i see, didn't look at my email much today but I got both the email from Agora as well as you, thanks!
