use your partworks mat or soft cloth !! my OCD Is in overdrive watching the shiny silver door panel unprotected on admittedly your very clean and flat work surface lol
This might be a future build but I'm happy with my goldfinger DB5 and really looking forward to the Esprit and with any luck they will do the V8 Vantage too
It’s just the standard V8 Wills. There’s no front spoiler, colour coded front blanked off grill or cam tail on the Bond car, like those found on the Vantage to differentiate both models.
Agora Models are indeed bringing out the Aston Martin V8 Vantage The Living Daylights. And the Green Jaguar from Die Another Day it would be cool if they could bring out the Porsche Twin Turbo from For Your Eyes Only as i was really saddended to see that car get destroyed
Hello Wayne. I think that you have the belt over the wrong part of the alternator. It is currently on the spinning cooling fins; it should be on the small pulley on the front of those.
Another great video Wayne. I am constantly fascinated by the design and engineering of these model kits. It does make me wonder why would they spend the time and resources on parts that serve no purpose, either visually or functionally. What's up with those cam shafts? 😉🍻
The last spark plug wire that goes into the end of the chrome tube is fiddly, wont stay in properly on mine, not sure want to use glue on it yet, plus some of the spark plus wires fall out while you are trying to assemble the rest of the engine!
Externally mounted movie cameras on their rigs in various places on the car as seen in the making of the movie. You could 3D print them and paint them.
Love James Bond cause I'm a James lol. Naw he's just cool. And I always liked it when the chicks would say OH JAMES!!!! I would be like yeah I know. LMAO great build Wayne.
Apparently enterprise build only 30 packs somehow I’m not seeing it. I’m pack 25 about 3/4 of bottom saucer is done one nacelle most of battle decks/lower decks and cobra neck with only 5 packs left?! Possibility 3-4 packs by my count for saucer and another maybe 2 packs to complete 2nd nacelle and battle decks I honestly don’t know how they’ll do it in 5 but when fanhome took over it only showed 30 total packs. Plus a heads up for pack 25 on mine part 95f I had to take off and glue the escape pod in place because panels wouldn’t go in place with that part on. But opposite panel went in just fine but an hour of looking and checking why it’s not working and cutting down the piece still nothing so just remove it completely.
What are your thoughts on parts you install that you will never see again like the cam shafts? Are they worth including in the kit or are they a way to stretch the build out further?
It's always a contentious issue. You see I know they are there bur then again I know the engine was there in the Deloran build but we will.never see it.
@@WorldofWayneUK I suspected that this would be an instance where the manufacturer was going to have to revise their instructions again. But I just opened a new browser tab, looked up underside images of an actual DB5, and it IS correct. Would've thought for sure that the silver portion was the transmission pan as well.

Loving this build of the Austin Martin DB5, 1 of the most iconic cars from the James Bond movies other than the Lotus esprit
You should do the eddie sotbart

I just thought of an amazingly unique modification to this model.

cool
I used a pen to get equal bends in the cables, we need to have eye for detail, no?
"...cylinder head cover..." Pretty sure that's the side of the block, Wayne. :)

Great vid shame you don't get multi bond drivers or bond girls ??!!!

I think you put the transmission on upside down. It looks like the transmission pan is on top not the bottom like it should be
That's bot the transmission pan. That's the top of transmission. So.eone else mentioned that so I had to recheck
no its corrrect

I think you have the gearbox upside down Wayne....
I had to recheck. No. Its right according to the instructions. I thought the silver part was a sump but its the top.of the gearbox
@@WorldofWayneUK Ok ..no problem,cheers..

Does this design of the engine seem similar to the old Eaglemoss kit?
No. The whole thing is going together a lot different
Hey Wayne if you want to know what my modification idea is look at my reply to my original post.
Will do
