Who would have thunk it.....when they write actual jokes, it's funny! Sharing political opinions isn't funny whether it's from your family members or a television show
There's still some traces of it, but it's not as dry (i.e., the game show where contestants have to guess who's a Republican and who isn't, but it's difficult because Republicans and Democrats have more in common than people think).
Its because there isn't a circus of media in our politics now, now they are able to start thinking creatively and write new content
Watching this in May and still laughing my head off!🥳😂🌲
Lmao Heidi's old lady sounds exactly like my mom! Last night she called and told me about someone I don't know who died from her church. And she pretty much does this every conversation.
Mikeys facial expressions are so real! Just emotionally exhausted lol
that's cool that they suggested getting air mattresses for drunk guests ☺️
Easier to clean just in case too.
EVERYTHING… I say EVERYTHING… was perfect in this one! Bravo team 😂😂
'for when grandpa weighs in on social issues' HILARIOUSSSDJSD
I'm in three sketches on this week so far and they're all gold. What were you guys smok'n when you wrote these, gold laced doobies!?!? Genius!
Yes because professional comedy writers can only be funny when they using drugs.
this isn't comedy--its a documentary on holidays.
The transition that I experienced from actual Target youtube ad to SNL Target ad parody gave me whiplash.
That was a beautiful bulldog!
This skit is just perfect. I've watched it many times and it never gets old!
Keenan as an old man will always be my favourite 🤣
Every part was amazing but the best was the football sack! Can't wait for my overly religious in-laws diabetic feast on Thursday, it's a good thing I love them 😂
the part where Mikey put in the headphones & sipped his beer was a gut punch 😫😭🤣
I love that my family never, ever had a dysfunctional Thanksgiving or other holiday gathering. No booze. No politics. Just food and football and games of Rook and lots and lots of chatting and laughter. I had no idea how rare my experiences were until I grew up and saw other people's drama.
I don't think it's all that rare. There are plenty of us who have wonderful family gatherings. It's just that our stories aren't funny, so they don't usually get told.
You'll have them as years go on. We didn't have alcohol either. That helps
As you add spouses, kids, things change
You need to make a Target ad for Halloween next year
Everything down to my nephew, the bulldog, is completely accurate. Great writing!
Kenan's character is Charlie the security guard when he's off the clock. "Mmmm-MMM! Don''t you hurt nobody with that thang!"
Lol. I thought he was the old guy from the Alexa ad. Kenan is a national treasure.
@@cocorosie1977 "Oh-DESSA!"
@@Beverly_Dingus "hmmm I don't know about that." 😂😂
Ego's face at 2:33 is every mother's face after Thanksgiving HAHA
"I don't eat anything with feathers anymore..."
"Ok, but we're getting together for Thanksgiving Dinner..."
"I'm there!"
No politics, No religion, No inappropriate stories or words, children sit down shut up and watch football-do not speak unless spoken to, never be ungrateful at Thanksgiving-be Thankful, contribute to the work (with a smile) before and after dinner, no questions asked.
