Everybody is so friggin' on the mark in this skit, but imho, it's Beck Bennett and Cecily Strong who really nail their characters. And this is not to ignore the brilliant Aidy Bryant. One of the most spectacular skits that SNL has ever done. I can't stop watching it.

Americans should look at this skit and think about it...most of all they should also remember how their children are impressionable when they have to be around a bunch of ignorant grown-ups who's opinions and interpretations are just plain wrong.

+Trev Mac - What if you are in a family who have both sides of the political spectrum and both sides are ingnorant and have opinions that don't allow for discussion? It would be better for everyone involved to just leave the political opinions and controversies at the front door and actually enjoy each other - especially for the kids' sakes.
Try getting adults to leave their opinions at the door,it's almost impossible..it's almost better to separate the kids from the adults and let them go watch TV in another room
Trev Mac - That's pretty funny. -lol But in reality, my family does not discuss political or religious leanings because we love each other and don't want to hurt someone. So we don't discuss that (unless it's a situation that is happening specifically for discussion, which holidays are not.) And we have a wonderful time together. (Kids and all) haha I really think people have lost the art of 'agreeing to disagree' with respect, and still loving each other, differences and all.
One of the best things to ever come out of the writers of SNL. Timeless. We all need a little "Hello" right now.
