@simonkapadia7582 I agree camel archers being less food heavy to make them viable in feudal which is ironically their strongest age i.e .when you can't use them cause they are food heavy. In castle and imperial you can make better units (comp bow archer or handcannoneer) and they so I don't bother with them. I had this wind idea of keeping their stats the same and keeping the camel archer at 240 resources BUT make it 60 food and 180 wood. I really think that would shake things up a lot with abbasid. I don't think they should cost gold then it would be easier to macro for them.

btw, saying elephants are good makes me feel warm inside. always get told I'm memeing when I make them, but they really just crush everything, especially with full upgrades. the gunner elephants you just casually walk through the opponents base and they just pick off every farming villager.

Gilded Landsknechts are S tier. They have higher hp, they have bleeding damage ability, they can take mangonel shots unlike HRE landsknechts, and nothing beats them when you have 30-40 of them. Of course massing them is extremely difficult.
Btw haven't finished yet but grenadiers are my single most despised Unit. In ffas they're absolutely disgusting. Somehow they seem to even wreck mangonels by just swarming them. Palace guards mixed with grendariers good luck even targeting the grenadiers.
There is a 0% chance youre serious about this. I hate Otto as much as the next guy, but jannies have always been considered to be mid at best due to their hyper specialization. Neft bombard and jannies are also nerfed

They specialise in dealing with cavalry which is exactly what a siege focussed civ like Otto wants since cav could counter siege or out maneuver the often slower Otto army. 2. Jans are so good at this particular job that even the French want to think twice before producing any cavalry against Otto's from castle age onward.
I think its crazy that there are still people out there who will defend ottomans and otto units as not being overpowered. All pros agree now, ottomans need nerfs.

I remember when ottoman first came out you guys were putting janis and GBBs in C or D tier saying the janis were worse riflemen, and GBB too slow. blew my mind. I was playing GBB jani sipahi wondering what drugs yall were on to think they were bad. glad to be vindicated.
but now ive moved on. GBB jani sipahi actually just gets hard countered by sushi's legacy splash bombard, choke a nuke, imperial guard. you get the same 11 range bombards for the opening of the fight that are faster moving and deploying than GBB to kite until the sipahi close in, at which point the range isnt needed and you swap to cavalry charge damage, and the imperial guard, chokes roll then down. janis cant cover the sipahi without being mowed down by bombard fire, sipahi do 2 damage to imperial guard while the imperial guard kill things so insanely fast by the time the GBB get in the fight you lose all your sipahi. if you keep your sipahi covering your GBB then china bombards kite at 11 range for infinity. if the GBB try to duel the china bombard, you can siege shoot and run before GBB siege up.
getting there can be difficult, but zuke nuke horseman beats out most comps, especially at mid conqueror. 150 wood horsemen that later allow you to produce imp guards faster while making economy ridiculously easy to manage is busted at that level. castle dynasty allows so much military so cheep, trade can be built at that time to push imp, where the choice becomes, depending on the civ and strategy the opponent is using, flame arrow chokes first, or imp guard first. generally you will want those 2 before pushing toward splashbards, as well as imp dynasty before splashbards, as the second building gives an insane 35% bonus damage on the imp guards. they beat out fully upgraded order of dragon knights quite readily even. best part is between each clash, all units heal up.
feudal and castle spears should be added in as needed, as well as castle age food eco should be so insane with triangle formation granary plus imperial officials on them that monk spam fills out the front line. 3 officials on the granaries, 1 on mining, 1 on wood, 1 taxing. so your food gets an average, with 30 workers on them, 27% bonus (18-20 with triple bonus, 10-12 with double) with the official 15% MORE over that, making the food gather 46% better than standard. so 30 workers gather like 44. and if you need more, there are still 10 slots with double bonus too if you for some strange reason need the extra food.
18-20 because 2 of the slots allow about 1/3 of the plots to be mined with triple bonus, and the workers during castle age only use 1/2 of the plot, so for 75% of the time they mine with triple bonus, 25% double.
After ottomans first came out they were kind of middle-meh, but they got so much buffs (especially to military schools speed production) that they quickly became one of the most overpowered civ in just two months. And sepahi always has been very strong.
Gotta like how he makes othmans like the best broken unstoppable absolute unit of a civ , even tho gets hard countered by 3 or 4 civs , get early harrassed u will regret ever playing this civ XDD
