- I finally get to see and meet alpacas for the very first time! I even got several kisses and saw a baby alpaca that was only 6 months old. The farm also had a mill, and I loved learning how the alpaca fiber is turned into yarn.

I caught this one!! I have been to one of these before. I did work for a far,m once that had them. They are so full of character when you get to know them.
No way! I want to work on a farm! Haha. I want to adopt one of those cuties; I just wish I lived closer. It's such a pity that no one builds colleges out in the middle of the country.
@GoMandiMartin I did work for them. Painted the inside of the house and some exterior stuff too.
Here in South Jersey there is a farm around every corner. Literally
They squeeze them in a lot of times for that massive tax break. Zoning in a lot of places allows it so they do it.
@@JoeKyser Oh my gosh! I would love that so, so much -- if there was a farm on every corner near me. Well, farms with fuzzy animals that I could pet, and kiss all over haha. Cuddly farm animals, yes please! That's so cool that you did some work for your local farms. I hope that got you an "in" with the animals hehe.
@GoMandiMartin Yeah actually I have done work for many. Word gets around. I have some pet and animal stories from my days. There is always a new bond to be created out there somewhere.

@@GoMandiMartin Mandi!! So good to hear from you. YES. I love farm animals. I have some property in northwestern Wyoming in a small ranch community. So many animals. Never got to spend time with alpacas live and up close like that but definitely on my list. I do love my alpaca socks.
Ah, yes. Seems like I had been on the road for a long time. Back “home” essentially for the month of December unless something comes up. Home can be such a loose notion, can’t it. It is where I stay as I work this job - a temporary place to lay my head down.

I'm pretty sure I was either a farmer-animal owner or a farm animal (hehe) in a previous life HAHA. Do you get to go and visit your property often? My tour guide said that many of the alpacas were "just like cats" and ahhhhhhhh, that's so true! They have the cutest faces. Goochie goochie goo!
