Yes, just don't be afraid when cats trying to bite or claw you! They're cats, that's how they play. When they're hissing at you that means they didn't want to be disturb. Cats love personal space and will get upset if you disturbed them. Just be confident! If not, the cats will take your title as a boss.

It doesn’t actually appear that Bella hates Chels. More so that she lacks respect for her. On Bella’s terms she was willing to rub against Chels and stick her butt in the air (tail up like that is a sign of affection or excitement). A cat wouldn’t do if they hated you. She just doesn’t want Chels telling her what to do or to come near her uninvited. She literally thinks she’s some kind of hierarchy over Chels. Work on being more assertive & not backing down when you pick her up & partaking in feeding her more often. Over time she will learn to respect Chels. Cats aren’t all that different from dogs in that way. Bella was asserting dominance and not being viscous. Good news is that means you actually can form a better relationship. If a cat actually hates you, you can forget about it 😂

Yeah, it has a lot to do with how Chelsea approaches Bella too. Bella sees Chelsea's hand as a hostile target. This is only going to get worse as Bella keeps getting older and bigger and meaner.
If a cat yawns in front of you it means they trust you and feel relaxed if a cat just yawns anywhere means they are comfortable and relaxed and feel safe

My little black cat looks exactly like Bella with white fur in the same place on the belly. She demands petting but when I stop she swats my hand or arm( which ever she can reach) and I end up bloody. The boys look so good with their hair cuts. Trevor too.
