Nice diag, the amount of dash lights one sensor can put on, it can make it look worse than it is. Your experience and logical thinking prevented unnecessary work being done 👍
MATE! YOU ARE A LEGEND IN THIS GAME.. Ive been scrambling my brain for months but to start apart from the handbrake issue, the exact same issue ive had but because the code says ambient temp, but tpms light is on and then knowing its triggered by the abs ive been lost in a minefield of listening to garagemen guess its tyre sensor, abs module etc etc and not getting it right! Especially as there was a knock at the nsf and the bumper has been changed. Im giving you applaudits before I find out but it makes plausible sense!!
The ambient temperature sensor does work with the brake system temperature. My 2014 TDI warned me of over-temp brake system after some hard braking while sport driving. This was handy as it was a pre-warning to my brake pads getting close to the wire bar sensor so I changed my pads early for optimal breaking
Perhaps the vehicle uses the ambient temp sensor figure to factor in for slight variations in tyre temp, as we know tyre pressures increase with temp and this would change the rolling radius and perhaps trigger a false TPMS warning. Nice work! 👍
i’m having this issue again after it disappeared for a couple of months. for my case, whenever this error comes on, the car loses power after 2K RPM. any advice?
Hi i have this error on my Audi A5 B8 coupe. 02434 - Supply Voltage for Control Module for Left Channel: Open or Short to Ground. The hand brake works fine but i want to know why i have the error. Thank you
Got this problem few day ago. Dunno what to do. Sometimes it goes off by restoring from setting. But after somedays comes again. Should i go to a mechanic. Its very expensive here in sweden.
Hello , I have a question ! I have a Renault Symbol from 2011 . The temperature gauge goes up every time I use headlights, fog light , and ventilation . Does any of you how's reading this have any idea ? I have already doubled the mass cables
I have a 2009 a5 2.0 tfsi quattro and keep getting esp, abs and electronic parking brake fault warnings intermittently for the past week. When the warnings come on i have to hold the fob pressed in the ignition for around 5 seconds before the engine will turn off. Car starts fine and the warnings sometimes only come on when i press the set button on the dash to do the diagnostic check. This all started after i had my calipers painted at a garage. I've rang them and they said all they do is take the wheels off to paint the calipers and don't touch anything else. Any ideas? Please??
@matejrudec not yet but I finally got a new obd diagnostic last week and there was a fault code for left rear and sensor so that's my 1st port of call to try remedy it. After watching lots of TH-cam vids I also thought it may be moisture in the ecu plug. I'll reply on here once the problem is solved

It was tricky the first time I had this issue but not this time around. Cheers mate 👍
I believe you just resolved my issue I've been having for a long time now. I kept replacing the sensor hooked up to the condenser

I missed you buddy, great to have you back 👌👍
Thanks mate … works has pretty busy but I’m enjoying filming it’s nice to be back 👍
I had this issue, checked the live speed sensor and it was a wheel speed sensor, bouught a replacement off ebay and swapped it out - all good!
What is the connection between ambient air temperature sensor and parking brake? It doesn't make sense to me. But thx for the video

Nice work! 👍
100% 👍… cheers mate
Nice one Igor, second guessing the engineers logic 😁👍
Thanks mate , I find myself doing that more and more nowadays 😳👍
It's amazing how much a mechanic has to research each and every job...
100% mate , it’s crazy that an ambient sensor will turn the money light on 👍
great work

The sensor must be failing … or perhaps wiring issue, but it needs checking …

Possible abs sensor issue, try to replicate the issue and monitor the live data for the abs sensors 👍
@@CarsExposed thank u
Hello. Did you fix this problem? I have the same problem like you. What was the solution?
