- This spring volunteer storytellers from Johnsonburg, Pa., came together for the 87th production in the Our Town series. They captured the close community spirit that spans generations in this small town. Watch as they share stories about their bicentennial, childhood memories, the 1942 flood, their awesome veterans, the Fire Department, their young people’s talent and energy, and much more!
I used to live there the nostalgia is strong
I worked on this Mill 30 years ago..my son was born in St Mary’s I used to wonder how it faired. Sounds like the people are as nice as ever. I wasn’t completely welcomed as I wasn’t Unioned. I was a 20 year old from Maine promised a decent check as long as I could work. 6 days a week if you missed brassing in you knew someone would take your place. Within a year I went from 175 lbs to 245 nothing but muscle.

There's a part of me that misses 'Burg. I graduated from high school there, though I grew up near Wilcox my whole life before I moved to Arizona in 2009. Someday, I will return for a visit. Though you'd have to pay me a kings ransom to move back to that area.
