I love watching these types of videos because you include the destinations, different types of aircraft and the length time of each flight. Great job and keep up the good work 👍 👏.
Terrific catches! Some many of those Delta, domestic US and international flights coming out of Atlanta fly over the DMV-DC, Maryland and Virginia region up on flight routes up on the east coast to their destinations.
@Randy Baumery Lol someone has their head in the sand. half a million deaths and 28 million cases say otherwise. Covid 19 could have a 100% mortality rate and people like you would still say its no big deal or “just a flu” lol. It kills anyone, so don’t bring up the “it only kills old and sick people” bs. And the issue is the people who you spread it to. You could spread it to someone who is more vulnerable
Well, well, well. After 2 years look who Snuck into town. My Bestest Friend, "Challenge Accepted " . Glad to see you made it back safety to ATL. Happy Safe Flying to My Crew.🙂😎🙂.
U have planes taking/landing both sideif the concourses (there are landing runways and takeoff, and tasking runways on both ends of concourses. Big airports such(Atlanta'sHartsfield Jackson, Chicago's O'Hare, Dallas DFW) U can have 3 planes landing at same time or 3 planes takeoff at same
This has always been one of the very best airports for planespotting being it is dubbed the busiest airport in the country. But since the COVID-19 virus has hit, the air traffic is nowhere near the volume it would normally be since the travel restrictions have gone into effect. Plus people just aren't flying as much because of it as well. I am praying that air travel will return to normal soon. But I know that will probably not happen until the vaccine is released. Nevertheless, this is an awesome video. Great job on the filming!
The white 747 near the end of the video had me confused for a minute because Cal cargo out of Israel has a mostly white aircraft with the blue letters on it that say "challenge accepted" and Atlanta hartsfield is a major hub for Cal cargo.
@Lepp Aviation, Such an amazing video. I was recently on ATL and tried to do some plane Spotting but couldn't find a location like this. Can u share the location or at least share any other good location for plane spotting there in ATL? Thanks for sharing!!
14 hrs is pretty much an average long haul flight. It ain't that bad if you have red wine with your meal so you'll fall asleep quickly. I had plenty of these kind of long haul flights and it really ain't bad. And Korean Air in that case is a very good airline. Great crews, service, food and IFE
Icelandair_rfs. That's not always true. Atlanta does serve other airlines besides Delta. They have American, Southwest, Air Canada, KLM, Korean Air, Qatar, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Westjet, Aeromexico, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and United. Atlanta also operates cargo carriers such as UPS and FedEx, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Cargolux, EVA Air, and Cargolux.
Two questions: 1. Where do you get the flight info like destination/ time? 2. What do the extra numbers on the variant type mean? Ex; 757-232, what does the 32 signify?
In terms of looks, the Boeing 757 has not one fault. It’s a perfect looking aircraft. Ah Boeing, why did you have to sell your soul to Wall Street? Why did you let the idiot MBAs from MD con you into thinking stock prices were the most important thing?

this is why i come here every time i want to watch plane spotting
I live in suburban Atlanta and I always enjoy these videos of the Atlanta Airport!
Dude this is a Beautiful shot! It's calming to hear this as an Aviation Enthusiast when you're studying!
Delta seems to love those hard landings
Your videos are really the best spotting adventures out there. It adds so much to see the type of aircraft, origin, destination, age.
Fantastic 👏 video
That Asiana 747 @ 5:13 *B.U.T.T.E.R.E.D* the bread...

Any tips on spotting locations in ATL? Looking to visit soon.

the only reason that I won't ever go to Atlanta to spot is there is too many delta and not enough other airlines
Well, Delta is based in Atlanta, so...

I forgot to mention Atlanta also serves Spirit Airlines and Asiana Airlines Cargo
nice vid, thank you!!!
seems like UA is using more jets like the 175 versus mainline

There are apps like FlightRadar24 that tell where a certain flight is going.
I used to spot here and md88s fill the area but now the 717s are here.
Where is this? I normally spot from the south parking deck but this spot looks incredible
This is from the South Parking deck lol, on the west side of the airport
Ahhh Ahhh aHh
