How could anyone give a thumbs down to this. This is America, the distant sound of the whistle, people who love their work. A must visit when in Michigan. One of your better videos Jawtooth.
I live a mile from there, love hearing the whistle during the summer. The whole village is a great place to spend time with the family. Wish I could have met you when you were there. Great video, son!
as a native of Flint, I went to Crossroads a TON with my dad as he was a big train nut, and he passed that down to me. We lost him on June 8, so this is my first father's day without him, and this video brought back so many memories. I love it. Thank you
I remember when that track was actually a C&O/Pere Marquette spur that went to Fostoria Michigan. The track went by at least one Blueberry farm that’s further east of the park where tracks have been removed. I remember hearing a very noisy train go by, but I didn’t see it. That was about 1970. Tracks were partially abandoned in 1933, Otisville to Fostoria and the rest in 1972.
Hi Brian: nice video, some nice looking homes on the line. Big lots, great for kids. Good to see an old Rio Grande locomotive still being useful.pretty country great whistle. See you next time. Edward
Happy Father’s Day Jaw Tooth. Thanks for sharing the Huckleberry Railroad in Montevideo Michigan great memories when we took the kids there during Christmas and Halloween when the village and the train were decorated.Always a great family time. Miss it a lot being retired in Arizona.

A lot of folks don't seem to know about the place but it is worth the visit. Apparently it presently is inoperable but they have a unique 6 axle ng Porter diesel that ran @ US Gypsum in Nevada
If you ever visit michigan I highly recommend huckleberry junction and huckleberry railroad and crossing but the best time is in the winter to the see some lights
I love that old steam locomotive Jaw Tooth! Looks like you guys have a lot of fun riding all these passenger trains. The red caboose looks really nice to. I also liked the old steam locomotive in the woods to. Very nice video Jaw Tooth and HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
I will be doing a bus tour of several of the Rocky Mtn. steam railroads.later this summer, combined with a Denver family visit. UP 4014 will be visiting Denver while I am on the road, in early Sept., but I hope to catch it back in Cheyenne. Good work on your Midsummer's Day Dream, JT! Also enjoyed the model railroad with the Baldwin Shark. The young lady was scattering her pay near the coop. Chickenfeed!
Wooooo Hooo! You’re in my neck of the woods. Man, one day I hope that you’re able to get Owosso to the Steam Railroading Institute to see the 1225…Pere Marquette.
Jawtooth should also visit Durand and the Durand Union Station if he ever finds himself in Shiawassee County, speaking of Owosso and the Steam Railroading Institute.
Dreaming of riding the Huckleberry RR. Dreaming of going up the mountains of West Virginia on the Cass Scenic RR again. Dreaming of perhaps going to Strausburg, PA one day, and ride on the passenger cars, pulled by the N&W 611. Yep, that's JT.
That locomotive was once here in Colorado! It was on either the Cumbres and Toltec or the even more famous Durango and Silverton. Good to see D&RGW markings!
How could anyone give a thumbs down to this. This is America, the distant sound of the whistle, people who love their work. A must visit when in Michigan. One of your better videos Jawtooth.
It's probably his commentary, it's a bit controversial among the railfan community.

Yup and I was in Durbin, West Virginia and Cass over the weekend. I filmed 6 different steamers in action over the weekend

Very cool!
Sounds like a Turbine Jet Helicopter before takeoff!
Cute train
When you visit Flint, don't forget to find the Grand Funk Railroad bridge. I think it's on Fenton Road.
Fenton Road south of 12th St
(Getting ready to go 3 times 😅)Another awesome one really do like the Rio Grande logo.
It sounds like Gordon Lightfoot singing the huckleberry rail song
Nice Trainride Jawtooth I hope you do more like this too!
You weren't dreaming. You were just remembering riding the train.
I have always wanted to go to this place
☮️ Cool - You were in my backyard - Flint, just north of my train room 🚂
