She looks pretty good here, probably in the upper tier of careers Edit: this patch is bugged and necromancer is bugged and the gameplay should not be an indication of her viability
@@nametest2558 hm, not sure if you’re aware but there are infinite ammo builds, huntsman, bounty hunter, waystalker, ranger vet, etc, can never run out of ammo. If you compare Necro to other careers, you’ll quickly realize she’s pretty weak
What makes this amazing is that if she goes down to an assassin/leech/slaver, her skeles instantly drop, no one to save her. Zero room for error. Color me impressed.
That's dumb, her minions should be allowed to try and free her. IB has a tool to save himself while/after getting caught too, and he is a fortress. A squishy caster that might die within 1 second after getting disabled should be fine with pets trying to run over and help her (since not even the bots bother half the time when you play without people).

Scythe isn't weak, per se, it has good damage, and a great attack pattern, but it's definitely not as strong as flail, for instance, especially when flail is combined with that talent that gives infinite cleave on crit. The scythe gandalf slam, also needs to have it's are of effect, and knockback power, increased, because the flail power-attacks just absolutely outclass the scythe's gandalf slam... Which ends up with the scythe not having a use-case, because the flail is so much more effective in literally every situation. : /
the staffs altfire does piercing damage, so it ignores armor... @@rumbling9879You are quite incorrect with that statement. 1. This gameplay was recorded on the press release branch where there is no mod support. 2. Honestly, the scythe is just inferior to the flail.... the flail is SO much more effective. The scythe wouldn't have been so bad, if the gandalf slam wasn't so fcking trash... for some reason they make the area of the slam way too small, and the knockback effect from it is super negligible... The CC from the flail is WAY more reliable... And the total DPS is higher than the scythe, because of how fast it attacks, not only that, but it is equally effective against all targets, and ignores shields... Whereas the scythe is super weak against shields, but strong against armor. Meaning if you get a pack fo blackrats with shields, you're gonna have a bad time with the scythe. On top of that, due to how fast the flail attacks with light attacks, combined with that infinite cleave on crit talent for the necromancer, using light attacks with the flail is extremely effective and just elevates it above the scythe by huge leaps. : /
The skeletons are only effective for crowd control, they do like, 2 damage per hit, max, with the skelly-upgrade talent... without it they do 1 damage per hit. xD To put things in perspective, her scythe does like 18-24 damage per hit if i remember correctly.
Oh god, your build was terrible. xD A block build with necromancer? Horrible choice... The skellies help you more than well enough in terms of defense, focus on damage... Specificlaly, focus on crit chance, with that infinite cleave on critical hit talent. You'll be mowing down the enemies like you're mowing the lawn, you wont NEED to block, if all the enemies are dead.
Claims to be true solo, actually brings six closest friends
closet friends?
@@minmean3016 Don't we all have skeletons in our closets?
Scythe looks fun to use at least. Looking forward to experimenting with it. Feel like it could be a lot of fun on Pyro or maybe Unchained.
I wish it's heavy and light attacks were reversed though so it'd be more like the coghammer/executioner greatsword.
Is it true, that each time you use the ult Saltzpyre has 20% chance to get heart attack?
When you’re a necromancer every adventure is a family event!😂😂
It feels like this run was a free win for you. Skeletons are much better at holding the line than most players you can find in quickplays.
I mean core also plays a difficulty mod that he made for himself and almost no one plays. It's just a different level having played with him a bit.

Lore accurate gameplay, as everyone would abandon Sienna.
