That looks Fantastic, great share, i was in Boston earlier this year and I was fortunate enough to catch one of these running. I'll have to go back and look, but I got 2 different paint schemes, and I believe this was one of them.. unfortunately video not out yet.. but this model looks great..
Merry Christmas Shane! That F40 makes me want to get Mariusz to paint one of my locomotives! I have actually been working on an MBTA video, still trying to get the footage together so it will be a while before it gets done.
I purchased my base model for the MBTA custom. And just got it mailed to him. My base model is a VRE F40. And challengingly it didn’t come in a Kato Jewel case. It came in a small box with bubble wrap. Tested the base model. Works. Now we have to wait till October to get the Bi Level cars. If I were you I’d get the 3 car set. 2 regular Bi levels and a Cab Car. I’m also feeling optimistic someone will come out with an HO and N scale MBTA HSP 46.
I also asked for no grabs for mine. Going a little cheaper. And would have been time consuming for him. Although I’m not sure MBTA F40s have grabs on the side.
Hi Shane. I just found out that MBTA F40s do have the grabs on the sides of the locomotive near the cab. But I asked for no grabs as a cost saving measure. Have you ever ridden the MBTA trains before? If not you should. So should I. When they start traveling to Fall River and New Bedford MA we’re I grew up.
Was this customized of an old or new tool Kato F40PH? He prefers the older tooling F40PH so he doesn’t have to cut off the AC units atop the cab. And the old tooling F40s by Kato are hard to come across.
Very nice Shane ❤👍😎😊
Thanks Dave! Mariusz does great work. Now all I need are some N scale MBTA coaches. Thank you for stopping by my friend!

I've got one in the older paint scheme as well. It's on the channel here somewhere
Sweet how cool is that you caught one 👍
Merry Christmas Shane!

Merry Christmas, Peter!
He does a great job for a reasonable price. Think ive had him do over a dozen at this point.

I need to pre-order a few of those cars. I keep forgetting.

Now that you mention it I'm not sure if they do either, lol.
