    The RX to TX and Tx to RX is a bit confising. I think of the FC like hooking up an old TV to a cable box, DVD or VCR. The audio and video wires connect to the input on the back of the TV and then to the output on the back of the device.
    The TX from the originating device (out) goes into the RX (in) on your receiving device. The TX on a given module (out) connects to the RX (in) coming back to the main stack.

    Im thinking in building this drone when i got the money, 6s for freestyle and 4s if i want a longer flight time possibly make some lipo 4s, frame: source one, motors: xing 2 2207 1700kv, flight controller: speedybee f405, some elrs reciver, foxieer lolipop antenas for video, but here i have a question, if on my googles i have sma, and on my vtx mmcx why there are just packs of 2 with the same conector?, im planning on putting either a 800mw rush vtx, because is light for proximity flights, or reaper extreme 2.5w for long range, but for moment the quad is heavier then it shoud be for long flight time, and a foxieer razor mini camera

    • @wyatthumphreys
      @wyatthumphreys  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t really speak to your weight issues because I haven’t used those vtx’s or that frame, but I do know that 4s isn’t going to be ideal for long range or even just longer flight times because it has less cells. Also I’m not sure about the packs of connectors you’re talking about. I wish I had more answers but I’m still only 4 months into fpv! Let me know if you end up building the Volador though, that would be so cool!

    Hey I'm just getting into fpv and was thinking about this frame and would like to go with the x style because I would like to do a little bit of freestyle, but I am mainly going to be doing cinematic videos. I am also going to use the o3 unit as my source of video so I was wondering if you could see the props in the view when flying the x frame or if I should do the deadcat frame instead. Thanks, and great tutorial!
