I work outside all year long through wet winters, stormy springs, dry dusty summers. This is the type of case that will keep the phone in perfect condition. I know because I have a s23 ultra in a very similar case for almost a year and the phone exposed to these extreme environments is in mint condition. This would not be possible in a case that is not dust proof. There is a purpose for this style case. Don't knock it if you aren't getting down and dirty at your job or adventuring. You may need minimal protection for your phone because of your environment, but for me and others the case being dust and waterproof, ensures the phone will last. Great video!!
To everyone asking why this is needed, phones are only rated for fresh water. If you're going into salt water (which is corrosive), you'll need something like this to protect your $1400 phone 🤦🏾♂️. It's easy enough to take it off and use your normal case when you're done.
I've owned this case since I received my S23 Ultra. It is a great case. The one downside is the effect the case has on the camera. It has the tendency to blur images on mine at least. The case doesn't help the clarity of the camera, but I chock that up to it needing to be enclosed in an extra layer of protection.
I have this case for my S24 Ultra. It's nice but I can't get the fingerprint sensor to work. With the case on I try to reset my fingerprint but it does not work.
@@josuemayes2157 I don't know. I put a tempered glass on my phone at again the fingerprint sensor didn't work. I'm not worried about water resistance. I'm not going in any water with my phone.
i did not 😅 this is a dummy phone... just wanted to test out fit; couldn't test out function of camera/screen/sound underwater or in case unfortunately
you could have one on your phone but you must use the full 360 case which includes a screen protector integrated in the top frame - the phone won't fit in the case without the front frame
You can remove it i always remove the stupid little fingerprint sticker from all cases that have build in screenprotectors it's tricky as first but you just gotta be careful iv never damaged the inside of the screen protector doing this
I never understood why waterproof cases are still a thing. Samsung has made their phones waterproof since the Galaxy S5... (except for foldables, but that's a whole other can of worms). Nonetheless, thanks for the review.
i have known people who have called in to the phone maker when their NEW phone didn't survive a fall in the toilet or pool, to be told that the waterproof guarantee doesn't go beyond unboxing... so... i guess that's why? some people just want to not worry at all, especially those who will be using it in water alot, better safe than sorry!
I work in a very metal dusty environment and have a s21 ultra currently and metel dust has ruined both the bottom and top speakers due to being magnetic. Metal Dust has also somehow creeped inside and under almost all my camera lense. Cases like this are amazing to help mitigate that problem.

Great point!!
Totally agree!! I also want it for sandy and dusty environments protection!
Me too.
Can you use the s pen with the case
I just bought it and yes, but not so good. It's not very functional for the pen.

Does it close the speaker sound proof?
Did it mees with the screen like did it cause reflection?
if the on the phone has already a tempered screen protector installed, can it still fit on the case?
Did you do any actual underwater testing?
Do you have a screen protector already installed before? The main issue with s24 is fingerprint compatibility
Is it use full for scuba diving under water

@@stllda909 you have to go Settings→Display→Touch Sensitivity (on). try this ;-)
what is the best protective case for my s24 ultra???????, can some one give me some tips on it please
Definitely recommend this case i have had one for my 21 ultra and it is a beast
Why don't you mention camera lenses sticker?
fingerprinting biometric reading does not read it.
Does the case affect the quality of the photos??
no i tried today
I found your video informative. Thank you...
Thanks very much. You saved me
Okay, but did you ever test it in water???
i did not 😅 this is a dummy phone... just wanted to test out fit; couldn't test out function of camera/screen/sound underwater or in case unfortunately
Only thing I don't like about it is that the sound is mumble due to it being all the way covered up
It is using any phone
It is using any phone like vivo 2022
These is an amazing case for protect Galaxy S24 Ultra. I've got one but Ain't get it case 😅
The fingerprint ring really bothers me. Looks like a hole on the screen...

@@ourfavoritethingsreviewed what if you take off the screen protector attached to the front frame? Is there a a gasket on the front frame?
@@DoritosResidue hmmmmm i suppose you might be able to remove it the screen with the rigth tool, maybe even a box cutter? i didn't try...
The phone microphone got blocked
The only bad thing about these types of cases. Also wireless charging with some chargers. The thicker, the worse for charging 🤟
@Mike_Hog_A_Nator mine charger good, but I have problem with voice .
Not waterproof. I use this case for s24 ultra water came in.
They ruined this with the fingerprint eye sore for absolutely no reason.

Does a review of a waterproof case, doesn't show the phone submerged or any other type of testing, useless.
it's a "dummy" phone so i can't really test function underwater unfortunately, can only show how to install, how it fits etc... i did my best.
Wow. Let's take a phone with an IP68 rating and we will put a cover on it to give it an IP68 Rating. 👍👍👍
IP68 + IP68 = IP136 👍👍
Sea water will get in your phone and DMG if you not protect it this case does work
oh yes, lets make a water proof phone more ugly by adding a worse quality less water proof case on it...

I guess those who decide not to get insurance for their 1k plus devices for the rest who back their investment i think this just doesn’t make sense
