It’s not. IP68 means it’s water resistant with ratings for 30 minutes at up to 5 feet deep. This will probably be for people going into depths deeper than 5 feet, likely scuba divers or snorkeling divers, fishermen, people going boating on a lake, etc… The phone itself might still function even after exceeding the IP68 ratings range, but will likely void warranty as Samsung will then assume the phone was exposed to water beyond its ratings. Does Samsung still put a water seal indicator inside the device to know if there’s been water damage?
@@SilenMonserAlso too, when the phone gets water on the screen, the phone flips out (for lack of better words) and acts like you're tapping it a million times, and it gets difficult to be precise when its clicking and tapping everything on screen.
IP68 means it’s only water resistant for up to 30 minutes at a max depth of about 5 feet. Not waterproof. Likely meant for divers, snorkelers, fishermen, anyone going boating on a lake or water skiing if you’re at a mountain resort in the summertime (cuz some people do summer up there while those who go in the winter usually ski or snowboard).
I work in the rocky mountains exposed to every element known, so huge thanks helping me pin down the perfect case :)
I could definitely use 1 of these for incoming S24 Ultra here on the Texas coast while out fishing in my Kayak!! Much luv & great review 🤟
thank you!
Does the s pen still work with that magnet being on the back. There have been some reports of magnetic cases messing with the s pen performance
I work in a high dust environment doing lots of PMs. This is perfect.
Thanks for the info! I was looking for this comment. I work in construction so I was wounded if it was dust protection.
Can you share the charge speed with the battery pack?
do you need to remove the already installed screen protector to use this?
Are the edges that same rubberised feel as the black edge version of this you also reviewed? Or is it that hard plastic?
If I recall correctly the clear one had a much grippier frame
Hi with everything sealed up, does the speaker sound alright?
I have the same case for my S23 Ultra it blocks the sound a little bit
@@Yago174 I see. Thanks for the info! 👍🏻
yeah you gotta unplug to have full speaker, otherwise it'll be muffled a bit
Fingerprint area get gucky. Plus they have to get a case that you don’t see the fingerprints area in the screen
Suits for tropical weather, now is raining season

And of course when i go to buy it they dont have it anymore 😢😢😢
It's already waterproof! It doesn't need the case for that.
