This was the highlight of the entire program imo. He delivered more than some of the biggest names in the world and I'm embarrassed to say I didn't even recognize his name (my ignorance). Now a fan
So many of Sondheim's wonderful songs are plays-in-miniature: entire lives, or whole narratives, that could make decent-sized short stories, or even novellas, distilled down like an exotic perfume to the concentrated essence of a song -- and in no show was this truer than "Follies" (Sondheim's supreme masterpiece, in my opinion). "Waiting Around For The Girls Upstairs", "I'm Still Here", "The Road You Didn't Take", "Could I Leave You?", and all the songs in the spectacular "Loveland" sequence, leave us knowing the four principals as well, and as thoroughly, as any characters in American drama. You should have written Carlotta Campion's anthem about yourself, Steve -- you're still here.

OMG you truly captured the entire sense of the number. Well done.
The office chair was a brilliant prop choice!
Absolutely fantastic- one if the highlights for me.
I was wondering how would this song go without the 2 ladies, but he actually sung all the parts lol
What a performance!
Wow to think I knew him in high school when he played trumpet. Alex was so funny and a great friend. Glad to see he’s doing so well.

I am copying your gestures for some exercise. Times are tough.
