Simple project, but so much detail to do it right. Nice touch with the packaging. And great focus quality on the vid...makes it so much better to watch
Watching this reminded me of my father. He was a cabinet maker, and in retirement used to make all sorts of things like this. Great video Brady. Thanks.
Could you make a small jewellery or recipe box out of those spalted maple .......could be a fun project .....so exited to watch next...... anyways cool coasters you've made there ......cheers....👍🏻👍🏻😀
Как так то - на циркулярке в респираторе, а при шлифовке без - непорядок! Написал болтать не будет - в конце болтает - непорядок. А в целом красиво получилось, вот только насколько прочна шпальтовая древесина?

Wait till the little guy can help. Memories will be created and projects will be done faster 😂
Yes, will be fun to create those memories! and I wont have to sand as much 😂😉
The coasters are beautiful. Curious as to what you sell them for.
Looks like a simple project. But the first challenge is to obtain/recognize a good piece of wood WRT beauty, right?
Beautiful
Thank you
Well done, thank you!!
very nicely done and I like how you use your vise as a work stand, is that wood a hardwood ?
Yes it is maple. Spalted maple just meant that the wood has started to decay. It's actually fungus in the wood but it is beautiful
Hey, I want to make a few of these this weekend! What thickness did you cut them to and have they held up?
Quarter inch I made them. Which is pretty standard. That have held up great! Just make sure you seal them up good with tung oil
Как так то - на циркулярке в респираторе, а при шлифовке без - непорядок!

Spalted wood is plenty strong. Just can't let it spalt to long or it gets punky.
Nice
Thanks Buddy!
On the bottom of coaster what did you stick on it thanks
They are stick on cork bottoms made for coaters. I got them from Amazon I linked them in the description
Thanks
No problem 👍
What area of the country are you located and how much does a pack of 4 sell for?
thanks
$30 to $40 for a set of 4. I am in upstate NY.
What finish did you use
Hi David, I recommend tounge oil for coasters.
Hi please advise me these tools.
Great show without the music and the yammering. Got a subscribe out of me!
Please don't fast forward your videos.
Nice, but after all that work it's a $400 coaster. I can just buy new end tables when they get wet instead.
