We just went to and returned from the Philippines. Easy system and registration. Was granted a BB visa upon entry. We were treated well and got through customs and immigration easily. The on line registration has made our trip flawless.

@eharphyde balikbayan visa. When you return to the Philippines with your spouse, you get in with no fee for 1 year.
This trip was my first balikbayan visa, because first time I entered the Philippines with my filipina wife.

Question: My mom is a US citizen and return to Philippines for vacation but was stopped at immigration because they said my mom had the same name on a Wanted List and ask to get a clearance at NBI and gave them a phone number to contact( a fixer) if not they will be detained if they try to leave the country w/o it. I've attempted to reach out to the Philippines embassy for guidance for applying for a visa to stay longer. But , their replies are slow. As per the application instructions, I'm supposed to go to a website, but that site doesn't work and when asking for assistance, I'm not getting any help. Please help 🙏

Excellent videos. We are likely to return to the Philippines in January. On our last visit 2018 the immigration simply stamped our passports with the Balikbayan Visa without asking any questions. Since the rules are changing, can we expect the same? My wife (born in Navotas though now a US/Canadian citizen) still has her passport with the Balikbayan stamps (mine had to be renewed). We are currently considering only buying one way tickets this time to give us flexibility, so I want to make sure I understand the rules. And with the Balikbayan priviledge we don't need to purchase an onward or throwaway ticket, correct? Again, thanks for your videos. They are well done.

Regarding the PH customs declaration form. 10k PHP is like $200 USD, with that being said what if I am bringing Pasalubons such as foods, clothes and other items less than 10k PHP however I am bringing my own personal gear such as my gopro, my marriage ring, my iPhone 15 that has worth well over 10k PHP are those items declarable?

I travel to the Philippines every other year for the past 6 years..... I have a U.S. passport. I usually book a return flight booked back to the U.S. in 40 days( beyond the 30 days stay limit) from the Philippines. But I book another trip/flight to another country while I am in the Philippines within the 30 days. I then return back to the Philippines for 10 days before returning to the U.S., Even thought my return ticket back to the U.S. from the Philippines states 40 days does this rule still apply? Since I leave Philippines for another country and return back to the Philippines before leaving to the U.S.?
