Nenjathai Killathe (English: Don't Pinch the Heart) is a 1980 Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by J. Mahendran. The film stars Suhasini, in her debut film appearance, as the central character along with Sarath Babu, Mohan and Pratap Pothan in other prominent roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Ilaiyaraaja while the cinematography was handled by Ashok Kumar. The film won three awards each at the 28th National Film Awards and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards in 1981. The performances of Suhasini and Sarath Babu received critical acclaim. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Mouna Geetham.

இயக்குனர் மகேந்திரன் அவர்கள் இயக்கிய இப்படத்தை இப்போதுதான் நான் கண்டேன் அத்தனை எதார்த்தம் அத்தனை ஒரு ஆச்சரியம் மிகப்பெரிய வசனங்களோ மிகப்பெரிய அலங்காரங்களோ இல்லாமல் மிக எளிமையாக யதார்த்தமான ஒரு கதைகளத்தை சொல்ல முடியும் என்றால் அது இயக்குனர் மகேந்திரன் அவர்கள் மட்டுமே முடியும் அவ்வளவு ஒரு நன்றாக படம் பார்க்கும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் அந்த வலிகளை உணர்ந்து செல்ல முடியும்.... இந்நாளிலே இயக்குனர் மகேந்திரன் அவர்கள் இறந்துவிட்டார் தன்னுடைய 79வது வயதில் சிறுநீரக கோளாறால் இறந்து போய்விட்டார் அவர் இறக்கவில்லை இதுபோன்ற படைப்புகளில் நம்மோடு வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார் கலையை நீக்கக்கூடிய கலை மீது ஆர்வம் கொண்ட ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் இயக்குனர் மகேந்திரன் அவர்களின் படங்கள் எப்போதும் ஒரு பொக்கிஷம் எத்தனை படங்கள் இயக்குவதில் பெருமை இல்லை என்ன மாதிரியான படங்களை இயக்கி இருக்கிறோம் என்பதுதான் முக்கியம் எண்ணிக்கையில் இல்லை நம் எண்ணத்தில் தான் இருக்கிறது இவர் மிகவும் குறைந்த படங்களை இயக்கி வைக்கிறார் இரண்டு படங்களாக இருக்கும் 2006ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கு பிறகு இவர் எவ்வித படங்களும் இயக்கவில்லை கிட்டத்தட்ட 13 வருடங்கள் இருந்த போதிலும் கூட இவருடைய ஒவ்வொரு படங்களும் சிலாகித்து பேசக்கூடிய படங்களாகவே இருக்கிறது காலத்தால் அழியாத படங்கள் இன்னும் ஓர் 50 ஆண்டுகாலம் அந்தப் பாடலைப் பற்றி நான் பேசக் கூடிய வகையில் அவருடைய படங்களில் இருக்கிறது இவருடைய படமான உதிரிப்பூக்கள் நான் மிகவும் ரசித்துப் பார்த்த ஒரு படம் அந்த படம் எங்கேயும் தேடியும் கிடைக்கவில்லை நானும் பல்வேறு டிவிடி கடைகளில் சென்று பார்த்து கேட்டு விட்டேன் கிடைக்கவில்லை பிறகு நான் கோயம்புத்தூரில் பணி வருகின்ற பொழுது ஒரு டிவிடி கடையில் இப்படம் கிடைத்தது வாங்கி பார்த்தேன் அத்தனை ஓர் வலிகள் நிறைந்த ஒரு காவியம் உணர்வுகளை கடத்தக்கூடிய ஒரு காவியம் என்று வேறு யாராலும் இதுபோன்ற படங்களை இயக்கவும் முடியாது என்பதை இங்கு நான் உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறேன் அவர் மறைந்தாலும் அவர் இயக்கிய படங்கள் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறது ஆதலால் அவர் இறக்கவில்லை என்பது தான் என்னுடைய கருத்து

I pity the Anni character.she's not loved and valued by her husband.she's psychologically affected.she's dragged by both brother and sister.in this context,she tends to behave odd.but she's portrayed as a villi.the real villi, brother's extra marital relation,is shown as a good one.
