படம் வெளியாகி பல வருடம் பிறகு என்னுடைய 54 வது வயதில் பார்த்து என்னையே அறியாமல் அழுதேன் ஷோபா போன்ற ஒரு வெற்றி நடிகையை இனி பார்க்க முடியாது அற்புதமான நடிப்பு வாழ்க்கை எப்படி மாறுகிறது அருமையான தலைப்பு செம்ம படம்

இந்த படம் எப்போ வந்ததுன்னு கூட எனக்கு தெரியல ஆனா சோபாவின் கதையை கேட்கும்போது இந்தப் படம் பாக்கணும் தோணுச்சு பார்த்து ரொம்ப வருத்தமா இருக்கு
ஆமாம் நானும் எனது சிறுவயதில் திரையில் பார்த்த படம் மீண்டும் எனது 57 வயதில் பார்த்து கண்ணீர்விடாமல் இருக்கமுடியவில்லை ஷோபாவின் நடிப்பு அவரது நிஜவாழ்க்கையில் அவருக்கு ஏற்பட்ட மரணம் ,ஒரு அற்புதமான நடிகையின் யதார்த்த நடிப்பு ,இவையெல்லாம் மலரும் நினைவுகளாக வந்து கண்ணீரை வரவழைக்கிறது.

Wow!!!!!! what a movie, just fantastic, I could not see the movie for so long. I was in school and studying 10th std. when the movie got released. The songs where super hits in those days, I used to see limited movies, the permission to see the movies where limited by the family, the reason was very common, the parents used to think that the children would get misguided and spoiled, but after seeing this movie I realize that the Great K. Balachandar's movies were having master class and high standards. Mr. K.B. used to pickup good stories from Bengali movies, Malayalam movies, and good stories written by great writers. The stories are remade with a Balachandar's treatments, his way of telling the stories, visual treats and music sense are extraordinary, he is the reference and guideline to the new aspirant cine makers.

Shobha"s one of my favourite actresses. See how natural she is. And why would I say no to KB? I was struck by lightning when I watched my first KB movie at 7? I could instantly relate to his abstract themes. Relished the credits for the first time: Shobha is so beautiful.
PS. No sooner did Kamal dance, my crush for him returned. He was a handsome devil.
