Excellent interview by Mohan and Suhasini. 80’s Tamil cinema was really a golden period in Tamil Cinema. I moved from my home town to Madras for college study in 85. Kamal and Rajini films were very popular then. One of my classmate was a serious and die hard fan. There were comparison between Kamal and Mohan in cine discussion but some friends discounted Mohan against Kamal. This guy used to fight with others not to discount Mohan. He is no more now. Interesting interview. Nice to see Mohan after a very long time.

As a budding artist with megre money with them, they chose to make films in Kannada, moreover their were lot of extraordinary movies were being made,like bridge kind of movies, thanks to great Rajkumar sir included.

He was attending a fan felicitation event near a kuppam close to my house. I observed how friendly and genuinely cool he was. No bandha at all. I nervously walked up to him and asked if I could take a photo with him. He immediately accomodated and was real chill about it. What a fabulous actor.

I saw the first film in Kannada in Saphire theatre was Kokila and Mohan and Kamal pair was fantastic. Mohan became a super hero in Tamil and his musical films with the combination of Ilayaraja, SPB is evergreen and blockbuster.

Yes, pallavi anupallavi has a few tracks of agni nakshatram if I am not mistaken. Mr Chandramouli..... Not the best of mani sirs movie. Had the chance to see the movie in 1989 after agni nakshatram. Experience????
