I hung them up on the sausage hooks that come with the Dyna-Glo smoker just made a small incision on the first bone and hung them through that. Definitely got some nice color all the way around opposed to just laying on flat on the rack... Cheers eh

Hey how you doing thanks for stopping by... oh we're talking about a lot of variables here.... first off are we running the same setup... Second I did start with hot water... Thirdly might be a case of how much charcoal you started off with lit charcoal..... I mainly use the water pan in my Dyna-Glo as way redirecting the Heat.. it's just how the Firebox is set up on the Dyna-Glo...
@@CinCityFantasyFootball moving the water pan to the bottom is definitely a good move to crank up the Temps Could be the amount the lit charcoal I started out with... I just had to go back to the video to see how much I had in My Chimney Starter

Like Ken (HMB) said, you are finding your groove and looking more comfortable in front of the camera. The Dyna Glo looks like a very nice smoker. Those spares were very meaty. Like Matt, I wanted to see that big chomp. I understand being totally worn out at the end of the day. You are a lot younger then me, so it actually made me feel good to hear a younger man say it. lol Long cooks on big cuts of meat are like a marathon. When I look at the larger and older channels and see how they have 400 or more cooks, I stand amazed to think of all that work. Scott, like I've said to several other guys. I wished you lived close by. In the past year, I have found so many guys that like the things I like. Guys I know I could be good friends with. The problem is we are all stretched from one end of the country to the other, and in some cases in another country. lol Each week we go by camera into each others homes, shops, back yard, and everywhere between and hang out a while. We know what each other sounds like, looks like but never face to face. If that's all I can get, I'll have to settle for that. It's been fun to make so many new friends on the YT cooks community. Question for you man Did u do rtv on your rig? Ya know, between the firebox and cook chamber? Any extra gasket around the cook box door? I got my dynaglo on the way I've heard some stuff about air/ heat control. Just wanna do it right straight outta the gate. Thanks for your help friend BLAZE ON✊
Yes sir I did add the extra RTV around all the seals only on the outside though and then I went over it with the high heat header paint...hellz ya man..smoke on🤘🔥💨🇨🇦
I didn't put any extra gasket around the main cook chamber door.... gasket built on inside its pretty good you just need to adjust your clamps top and bottom make sure their tight

They were temp probed..believe that. Lol..juice man juice...not as tender as I would have liked but they were over 165°degrees..so they were definitely cooked..

I put my water pan where you did and the temp would not get to 225 easily. 205 degrees.

I have the same dyna glo. Charcoal filled box. I moved my water pan to the bottom and the temp rose about 50 degrees

Yes sir I did add the extra RTV around all the seals only on the outside though and then I went over it with the high heat header paint...hellz ya man..smoke on🤘🔥💨🇨🇦
I didn't put any extra gasket around the main cook chamber door.... gasket built on inside its pretty good you just need to adjust your clamps top and bottom make sure their tight

Did anyone see the blood that was still coming out of the meat they look good and all but i wouldn’t eat no pork with blood still visible
They were temp probed..believe that. Lol..juice man juice...not as tender as I would have liked but they were over 165°degrees..so they were definitely cooked..
