I just picked one up for $150 like new. The owner said he used it twice and decided to go a different route. I am going to install a one burner propane cook stove in mine as I do not feel like messing with charcoal. The burner runs $24 . I would rather use an ajustable heat source and just add the smoking chips. My last one was electric and it shorted out and the electronics blew up. I personally see no reasong to seal things that well. After using mine, I think it did a good job.

Just bought one myself from amazon and will take your video under advisement since you raised some good points. 'Did you do a video of using it'? I'd like to see how it did for you since we are big smoker fans in our home. I'm thinking I won't be able to use basic firewood sized pieces in it like I do with my side box smoker from lowes ..
Nice video, bot the temperature probe on the thermometer is the longer one, the other is just a line up tip to make sure it is up and down. No harm done.
just got me a dyna wide & you said the racks slide down alittle, try flipping them so that the bez things is up, its better for me alil hard to get them in that way tho...great vid.
Great video, thanks Steve. Got a couple questions if you don't mind. On your fire box did the horizontal damper seal properly (no air or light when fully closed)? On your chimney in the full closed position is it full horizontal or partiality open?
Hi Steve, are you still using your Dya Glo? What do you think of it? I've heard that it won't get very hot (ie, above 200 degrees) in cold weather, due to thin metal...have you experienced that issue? Thanks!

sam hunt, yea i didnt have a problem with smoking it. the meat had a nice deep smoke flavor and was trender
