XG made me go back to the girl group scene, I left after 2NE1. I still check groups who debuted here and there but THIS GROUP made me want to support them from the get go so they get big. I honestly believe TALENT will prevail with this girls.

Whoever wrote this song...knew exactly how to a throwback to 1991. There's alot of lyrics from that year in the song. Pirellis burning??? Swervin left right??? And there's more, alot more in the lyrics. The beat, the choreo...and even the apparel fad is from '91. XG going after Gen X and Gen Z at the same time. This song brought back so many memories.

XG is literally a group full of All Rounders. Yes the mics were on. Like i said in the Shooting Star reaction, Chisa came at me in this. Something about her in this performance had me in a chokehold. Jurin as usual is just murdering everything. Maya... Bro... She's too much for me I just cant 😂 Hinata impressed me here again. They all did, Harvey's voice is def a mood changer and attention grab. Juria just doing Juria/main vocals things and slaying it.

Honestly, the members that were overshadowed a little when I first saw them are capturing my attention just like the rest of them (Juria for vocals, hinata for dancing, etc.) they really have 7 good solid performers
These girls are so damn good. I know Cocona said she's heavily influenced by Lauryn Hill, the rap line has also mentioned TLC and Mary J. Blige like you said. I'm not mad at NONE of that, they've studied the greats and it shows. I can't wait to continue watching them grow.
And I typically don’t hear idols mention those types of names, even though those are the main artists that pioneered a lot of the “girl crush” vibe we see today. I love when idols know music history✨

The word that comes to mind to describe this groups is intimidating. Like they could easily all be aces as they are all amazing allrounders at the moment. I've run out of words for this group. Another reason and I think is a major reason that separates good groups from superstar groups is Chemistry. They are the perfect mix! No ingredient missing. Chemistry with each other and Chemistry with the camera and the viewer. There are few times when the Universe aligns perfectly and you get a phenomena like BTS, the Motown groups, and now XG. "Guide to XG(Who is XG) by Monalisa is the BEST guide a real in depth showcase of each individual a don't miss it guide. Their influence is real and feels more natural than other idols putting up an act I saw their interview and growing up they’d listen to TLC, Beyoncé, lauryn hill, kehlanie etc… and it’s refreshing to see that their writers and producers are actual black people that’s why to me the lyrics feel natural is just something I noticed

XG is a force. Are they slept on? I think so but people are waking up to them. Their comeback video is a little over 7 million views at this point… which is alright. One factor to consider is that XG is a Japanese international group… not a Kpop group. So their goals or outlook is a little different than a typical 4th gen Kpop girl group. If you compare this comeback to the biggest 4th gen gg Kpop groups like IVE or Aespa, both of those groups would have had 30 million views by now. So there is a difference in market. But XG has more freedom to do what they want and they can build an international fan base and not be concerned about appeasing only one market for success. I can see XG getting a big fan base here in America and other places. I hope so, I want them to succeed.
I hope they push into the states a lot because their style definitely suits western audiences as well. I think people would gravitate to their energy a lot

Bruh....BRUH...XG is a real PROBLEM. I may be blind here but I legit consider them a R&B/Hip-Hop group, they just happen to come from Japan. You said it perfectly, you can TELL they aren't influenced by the golden age of hip-hop and R&B, that stuff is in their blood!
They have natural energy towards rnb/hip hop for sure. Obviously they’ve been coached just like other groups but the members themselves present it in such a natural way. I hope we get to see an album from them
I think Left and Right needs one more element in the beat to make it a 10/10 but as far as a first B-side goes its pretty amazing. The choreo is fire and the vocals slayed
