great review! a few things from someone who is now on my second Model 3 (gave the first one to my son): 1. In the USA at least, it does not come with two necessary items that you HAVE to add: 1a. there is only a 110 v connector in the trunk charger pack. You have to buy a 220v connector such as NEMA 14-50 - $50 but that is what I use to charge it. Don't want to find out the "hard way" that it will take over a day to charge it (at the 110v rate). 1b. also in USA at least, does NOT come with HomeLink garage door opener module. Has to be added by service dept for an extra $350. The first M3's came with them, but no more. 2. the car really is faster than published. check it yourself. Long range is UNDER 4 seconds 0-60, but you can go faster for $2,000 more. 3. Though it looks cool, IMHO, don't get the white interior. you will stain it the first time you wear new Levis. 4. How many cars can you just push a button that is already under your thumb and say "turn on heated steering wheel". Wonderful! 5. Get used to looking over your knuckles on the steering wheel for the MPH/kph. then press the cruise control and let the fricking car worry about it. (it's an intermediate step to self-driving cars - which WILL take some getting used to.)

Usually just one or two chargers per location whilst Tesla have several. You can still us regular chargers if you wish to though.
@@madonemtI have been driving an EV for 3 years. Still don't believe the Model Y is a good value proposition for most people. If they bring a SR+ version of the Model Y to Ireland and the UK they will see there market share in this segment increase rapidly vs. Only offering the LR version.
@@MrBucko1990 I agree. I dont even like the look of it, It's a fat model 3. I would consider buying a 7 seat version though, but it's pricey as it is. There is a lack of choice with 7 seaters. Tesla just offered me a great trade in for my leaf so m3 would work out less per month than what I currently pay on the leaf. Downside is its £3k a year to insure with my Mrs on the policy. The thought had crossed my mind to get a new Mrs. 😀
You're going to break your frunk like that man lol it says on the manual to bring it down gently, and then press it down with both hands, gently lol
Does tesla dealers take trade in's
Yes but they don’t retail them so they’ll get a trader to bid and you’ll get that price built into your cost to change
Great review mate ..Tesla's are getting miles more affordable than they was ..Heard next year bringing out their cheapest car ever starting at £29k ..??
Model Y said to have cheaper batteries again.
@@NobbyOnCars Looks like Tesla have stepped up with their quality control as well mate..Really nice car that
Nice car, shame about Tesla's lousy customer service ! Tesla Motors Ireland Ltd. screwed up the paperwork for the model 3 we had bought and paid for in full (€~64k) and are now refusing to honour the contract and demanding an extra €5,000 because they failed to apply for the E.V. grant in a timely manner.
Not only did they fail to provide the service they promised, but their customer service department have completely stonewalled us and refused to engage in any meaningful manner. It is absolutely clear to us that the company has zero regard for individual customers. Nice cars but truly dismal customer service !!
Sounds like you’ll need to take that further
Labour is putting £180 Road tax on all electric cars! 🤦♀️
No Picture just sound after 9:30 mins
But I was enjoying the video 👍
Must be your end, working ok 👍🏻
"White leather, you gota see it in the flesh" a 1000 vegans are now crying in their non dairy, non sugar organic non coffee espresso in recyclable paper bio degradable cup
😂 well I didn’t mean literally flesh etc
Apparently it’s not real leather to be all round friendly
@@NobbyOnCars There is no leather. It is synthetic/polyurethane
@@InSaN3ViSioN we used to call that exotic material "Fake Leather" back in the day
Why the hate on vegans? The world would actually look a lot better if people will start eating less meat.
Let me ask, Which one You prefer, Model 3 vs Kia Ev6? (other than price)
Gadgets and handling, Tesla. Great all rounder, KIA.
Is it 440hp ?
350hp = 240kw/
The upgrade ($3000 AUD) takes it to 450hp.
Reminds me of my dealership knowing less than I did about the car I was buying. Whatever happened to professionalism
yep, pure minimum wage types, on the other hand would you really prefer a seasoned car seller?
(I'd rather have a root canal done on all my teeth.)
Købe longe range istedet for standart range. Vild 4 hjulstræk. Trækker Vild på alle 4 hjul. Holde på rattet kører lige ud.
It should of been a hatch back. Big error by Tesla
But they can’t make enough of them.
Why not set the boot door to open fully? You don’t know the car do you? They aren’t usbs in the roof and that poor bonnet. It does have AP.
Teslas putting prices up to reduce demand. Do some homework please.
🥱
End of the decade we’ll all be driving Tesla or Chinese. Build quality much better now and prices will be tumbling soon.
Don't see the European manufacturers giving up their slice of the action!
@@NobbyOnCars they won’t be able to keep up. They’ve been asleep for 10 years. The Koreans have a chance. How many EVs these days do you hear coming out with same specs as 2012 Tesla? The chip shortage is a blessing though, giving them time to catch up. They had a LHD model Y in the UK at an EV festival. Considering that’s cheaper to build than model 3 and they will be putting in the new batteries, I can see the prices tumbling once Tesla have 4 factories on the go.
The Moedel Y won't be cheaper than Model 3 here. Expect it to start at c. €70k based on the Model 3 and other markets where the Model Y is on sale
nice electric.
Usb C Ports in the roof … yea sure, do you Job right next time.
summons mode cool? 100% gimmick. Tell me how/when this is useful.
When someone is closed too close to you.
Maybe when its raining, you can get it closer to you
at this stage, yes. But I'm awaiting the day when it will come pick me up at the building during a pouring rain shower.
Tezzla
THOSE ARE NOT USBs lol
It is a really ugly car......not for me. And when you driving at high speed, 130 km/h you may happy to get half of the distance...
ha ha ha! good one! Stay with Porsche, it is a really good brand for those who like styling and performance.
Interesting. When you drive your ICE cars how much did you get better mileage when you drive at 100km/h.vs 130km/h?
brilliant review, enjoyed it a lot
Thank you
Very good review..
Thanks
