Anything thats level 34+ is pretty much not designed with thumbs in mind, made especially clear with what’s up pop. Just keep that in mind, though amara is an easier 34 that’s pretty doable. Also for level 32+, you can do a finger swap where you can replace the finger on a hold with another in the middle. There are songs where cross slides make you end up on the wrong side, and that is how you fix it.
The short ones in bug though you’ll just have to deal with those unfortunately. There are some well charted upper level songs like noushou sakuretsu girl and childrens record though

A bit of context- The "crack heads" work in an amusement park with kids that's why their mvs are so bright. people usually recommend roki mas(?) to get used to flicks but thats kinda more beginner oriented so i'd personally say junky nighttown orchestra mas since it has some mildly uncomfortable flick patterns that are a pretty common in higher level master maps !! (i am an index player though so i don't know how clunky it'll be to play with thumbs) otherwise for level 31 mas maps that are easier to fc both bitter choco decoration and showtime ruler are pretty easy for their level as they're more pattern and speed oriented^^

Your reaction to what’s up pop is just like any ordinary thumb player on project sekai (pjsk), me included… It doesn’t help that I use a phone to play so its just impossible for my fingers to get used to the size let along try passing that darn beatmap 😔 Also i’ve seen both your first pjsk vid and this and i have got to say, you are damn good at this considering you just started the game! More info about the game: - some 4 star cards come with outfits for the 3D model of that character for the 3D mv - there’s a ranked game mode on this where people compete purely with their skill at the game (without the card skills etc in effect) and the first 3 matches are to sort you into the right rank to play against players of similar level - there’s a filter for you to sort the songs based on different things, level of difficulty included

If its annoying, you can lower or turn of the effect voices at the sides and now there's a "new?" Function,that you can turn on and off,that shows you for example if you have a good, it shows if you tipped too fast or too slow but idk were it is bc I play on en sekai :)

If your goal is to AP a song, here’s something that’ll help. CREDIT CARD. There are 4(ish) abilities that a character will have. Score increase, perfect score increase, health regain and score increase, and perfect lock teams. Birthday cards are probably always gonna be health regain on crack. Now the perfect lock teams(as the name suggest) locks your hits at perfect, even if it’s a bad. Misses can’t be perfect locked. Yes, this game has a P2W way of beating it.
But if you are going to improve your raw skills, I advise against using it. To me honestly, using this is basically cheating and lying to yourself on how good you are at rhythm games. I would rather use life recovery instead, so you can play longer even after a lot of misses.

As someone who has passed what’s up pop mas on index, I can tell you, it’s absolute garbage to play. Basically Sega decided to pretty much import a 14/14+ chunitm chart over the project sekai lol. At least that’s what it feels like. some fun charts just cuz: Kagerou Daze The earth’s last confession (Warning they are not the easiest 31’s in the game lol)
