“Non existent sounds” is mostly drums or the music itself, if you do it without hitsounds you’ll hear
@@n30n__ra1n I do know that. I also play other rhythm games and this game's harder charts are actually just fine. I'm just complaining about some of the easy master charts that sometimes try to be hard but the music itself is already perfectly fine for expert charts.

It's interesting because I was an arcaea player but then I found project sekai and completely switched over. It was the exact type of rhythm game I've been looking for. Great music (with many that I recognize), rather free to play friendly (besides gacha and special outfits and such), immersive storyline, TENMA TSUKASA, charming characters, very fun and thrilling and smooth maps, and more.
I mean.... TENMA TSUKASA is pretty great, ngl

No your always guranteed 1 3* every 10 pulls
@@astro_doggy that's if u do a 10 pull, if u do singles then you'd have to do 100 singles to get a guaranteed 4* and 200 for a guaranteed rate up (perm only). Getting a 3* or above by using singles is up to luck

You might prefer the vocaloid versions of the songs, but I definitely reccommend trying out the songs with the actual characters' voices since they're really good and fun to listen to

The “big difference” you notice between 30 and 31 is probably because don’t fight the music is the easiest 30 expert by far (I’d say it’s easier than six trillion years lol). Disappearance/intense voice is much harder and I’d say they’re roughly the same difficulty as emperror (this is just my opinion don’t kill me)
Emperror expert is on a league of its own tbh
Disappeareance and intense voice is definitely easier than dftm, disappearance isnt really that hard except for the end bit and intense voice is pretty much basic (are they called thrills??) Fast Note tapping whereas dftm has much more complex note patterns and shit (most notably at the last half of the expert chart)

@@AmoreyYaoiSecks that’s a bit of an exaggeration but yeah, dftm has some spamming but I’m just a lot worse at the long ones in disappearance and intense voice. (Also fuck the ~600 combo part in disappearance that one ended 90% of my fc runs).
I *did* almost fc disappearance by 1 good before I fced dftm (and I’m still salty lol), but it’s true that I fced dftm expert before any of the level 29 masters. The level 29 masters’ charts are more complex than dftm imo lol

you can turn off the mvs if they get too distracting! the little circle in the bottom center just click it until it doesn't say 3D or MV in it!
edit: doing single pulls also doesn't guarantee a 3 star every 10 pulls, it's far more worth it to wait for 10 pulls
playing with the mvs on is pretty fun imo so ill try and keep them on unless it makes the chart completely impossible lmao
and as for the 10 rolls i expected there to be 3 star pity or smth so ty for telling me before i waste my things

The worst part about ENG is you only get 1 song note (10 to buy a song) for each story and in JP you get 2.
I'm old and have never played a rythm game so figured it would be a challenge. After 6 weeks FC my first expert. I turn 50 tomorrow. I'm the worst player in about 2/3 of every pub game :)

When i first played PJ i allways got so confused because i kept losing notes at the end of hold notes until somebody told me that i have to perfectly let go of them at the end which i didn't have to in arcaea
release timing is really annoying yea
me doing the exact opposite of you, once you're used to release timing, it'll be muscle memory to release at the end of long notes (well, for me atleast)

A former Arcaea player here too. I almost changed my name to “I hate flick notes” as well. The flick notes were terrifying. At least Arcaea taught us accurate hand placements and note seeing 😂

If you wanna keep the mv on just turn the brightness down to 50% that way you can see the chart more clearly. Also try the sekai version of some of the songs, you may like it more than the virtual singer. Can't wait to see you play more.
someone told me about the mv brightness and i lowered it to 70% which helped loads yea

sometimes the vocaloid versions of songs aren't as good as the sekai versions imo, so i'd definitely recommend listening to those
for example the character version of awake now is sm better than the vocaloid one

You playing without note sounds is throwing me off so much. As a pjsk player I keep mine on bc it find it satisfying to hear the perfects line up with the beat of the song. Like that's actually my favorite part 😭
Whenever you have an offset needed (aka delay of some sort on your end, be it audio, touchscreen input etc.) it's recommended to play without hitsounds because the "Timing" setting doesn't affect hitsound noises, making it very confusing

Btw maybe you already know this but if you read the story you get more music cards(you dont need to actually read it,pressing the skip button gives you then anyway)
I played Arcaea for 2 years, then found Pjsekai, then D4DJ, rhythm games bring me so much joy, I remember my 1st time in Arcaea and being absolutely confused by everything lmao. Though I did get used to it and then yeah 2 years passed by and a few months I found Pjsekai it was fun I loved vocaloid songs, the stories too,then D4DJ it's the one I'm playing rn it's fun, songs are catchy and character stories are nice and event stories. PJsekai,Arcaea and D4DJ are recommended rhythm games

@@limbolimbolimbolimbo donfai is really easy, emperror is more like a 31 and is also known to have a disgustingly difficult end section (among other songs like ghost rule, pulse of the meteor, etc.)

My rhythm game journey was starting with Arcaea... Such beautiful nostalgic chaos, but I wouldn't go back. Then i Found Cytus II... And well... The chaos if having control of the whole screen, moving line And unmoving notes, the line speed change... I completely found myself in this delightful chaos. But then i Found Project sekai.... That Is the game i play for story and relax..

A little tip for the song that you nearly got a full combo too, after u think the song is finished, swipe your fingers where u would tap the notes as if nothing shows, your done however, if there is the grey thing when you swipe, the song still goes on. 10:14 is the timestamp

na im from england you just gotta head to the apple id register page and sign up like normal but make sure the country is set to japan, you can use the same phone number you use for your existing apple id and it works fine

Really hate the flicks. I've never really use flicks in my other rhythm game except lanota. Also since i always got use to deemo and lanota i thought i didn't need to take off the slide note and just like that. But it is still fun with all the different mechanics i usually play (I'm looking at you lanota and arcea and any other disco sht right there)

as an arcaea player, the only thing I hate is the fact you can be like the number1 in the world in rhythm game and get a C because you dont have the super rare character.
