As someone who’s passed this chart, honestly dispite it being slightly hard than wup (actually quite a bit harder for most people), I don’t hate this chart. It definitely feels like a challenge without being forced. If you can’t read slow speed (like 8-9) tho, good luck, you’re gonna have a bad time.
The speed changes are definitely gonna be an issue for people who have played without them for their entire rhythm gaming experience. If you watch the videos from higher level players, there seems to be more fcs appearing than from wup
Honestly wup imo is also really fun (like at least more fun than the monstrosity that is mgpd) except for the second half. The first half of wup uses some pretty basic 3-4 finger patterns which I really appreciate, although one glaring problem with the entirety of wup is how some small notes are added really weirdly in otherwise fine patterns, just for the sake of forcing another finger to be hit on that exact spot. Those notes don’t really affect clears that much, but it’s the reason why those wanting to FC the chart despise wup more than yaminabe. Yaminabe doesn’t suffer from that problem, but it has way fewer breaks compared to wup (which is why i’d prefer it being rated as 38).
