Can i just say that it is so refreshing hearing someone, Who consider themselfes to be goth, talking about The emo scene without hating on it! Being someone Who grew up in a country where the "goth" scene was almost dead, emo was (even though i didn't know it was called emo at first) my first alternative group of people. It was the first time i got introduced to the alternative scene, and i never really understood why other alternative groups (especially goths) hate it so much. 😂

I remember accidentally seeing MCR before they hit it big. They were opening for the Used & Finch I believe. Back then they really sounded almost “hardcore” to me or at least that’s what my friend group and I referred to them as. I still remember how shocked I was when I saw the Helena video on FUSE or whatever and I was like... wait, that’s the same band? I’ve never considered them emo because of that first experience at the show. Though, a TON of emo’s love them. I’ve always considered emo to be bands like Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab. I never really got into MCR even though people constantly suggested them to me because AFI is my favorite band. My sister was super into them though.

I remember when MCR first got big and they were touring a lot. I saw them a bunch of times. They put on a great show. I haven’t listened to them in a while. I need to revisit their albums.

We used to use red lip liner and blush to get that look, as growing up in rural Minnesota red eye shadow was not acquirable.

my favorite MCR song is "The Jetset Life Is Gonna kill you" i know Helena and "Ghost of You" are superior to it but Gerard has really good Vocals on the song and i think his best vocals are on "The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You"

Yeah I just love every single Song by them and when I made my account I was thinking of things I wouldn't mind seeing everyday or might regret I do get bored of the Profile Pic sometimes so I switch it to another one of him but this one has been the one that I've had in the longest and I don't plan on changing it anytime soon.

My favorite songs from MCR are Helena (my ultimate favorite) and I'm Not Okay. My husband likes Sing and Nana, I think it is called that. Oh, and Welcome to the Black Parade is another favorite of his.

My favorite my chemical romance song would have to be between welcome to the black parade and Helena
I remember when I first heard of My Chemical Romance. Back in 2007 I would hang out with other Goths and Emos on a chat site, and heard about them there. Didn't actually hear a song by them for about another year afterwards, a song about vampires or something. It wasn't till a few years ago that I found the song again, Vampires Won't Hurt You, which is my second favorite song from them. I have to say, though, that Helena is my favorite from them :D

Ghost of you is one of my absolute favourite MCR songs. Every single time I hear that song its just full blown goosebumps. Helena and Its not a fashion statement, its a deathwish are some of my favourites. By the way I love both your completed looks🖤

Hey, thank you ❤️🖤 I got this wig from my local costume store! But you can find it on Ali express or Ebay! It was originally long and curly but I had to cut it because it was getting out of control!

Wigs are the best honestly! It does take a few wears to finally feel comfortable in them but it gets so comfortable after that and then you can save time on real hair!

I LOVED them up until the "black parade" era. Even a few songs on that album were pretty good and they did some pretty cool stuff by modelling their stuff upon influences from "QUEEN" but I just couldn't get into them past that album, and honestly "3 cheers" was where I fell out of my adoration of them as a band.
Everything was great from this era though, musical styling, vids, aesthetic, style,etc. Lol.
Actually their first album was as good as the second, as well.

I'll just look on in envy because I can only wear certain eyeshadows and eyeliners because I seem to be sensitive to something thats in most of them.
I think I already told you about this but I used to be like that for two years and then I changed makeup remover and I that helped alot! I threw out half my makeup and everything because I was scared I'd be tempted to wear it and hurt my face but then one day it just stopped happening (not sure if it was the new makeup remover) but I hope you will have a story like mine because I know how annoying it is ❤️🖤❤️🖤🌹 - Lynn

@@RaelDanger I use Garneir makeup remover it's great for sensitive skin! Doesn't do the best job at getting makeup off so it can take awhile but my skin doesn't be bad after it 🖤
