- Made a easily removable PVC dog platform with a ladder for my kayak. Thought I'd share it with y'all. I'm calling it Dog Platform 1.0 because I'm sure I'll be making adjustments. Let me know in the comments if it sparks any ideas?

I used 1" Sch 40 PVC
1" PVC 90's
1" PVC Tee's
1" PVC 45"s
1" PVC Couplers
1" PVC Male Adapters
1" PVC Slip Thread Couplers
I just cut it all to fit.

😀Yeah it worked well but our pup knocked the camera off it's mount and deep sixed it. I have not gotten around to shooting it again.

@@Thirdcoastcowboy Good on you, I might do something similar to this but I will be getting a bigger kayak and I have a bigger dog. Maybe put a piece of wood on top of it to create a full on platform with some sort of waterproof non-stick rubber cemented to the wood... Thank you a lot for this idea.
You definitely need 3 cross sections you don't need the ladder so then your PVC can be air tight just need some ball valves so you can then cut a piece of 3/4 treated plywood and then water proof it then get boat carpet glue that on top of the wood then screw it down to the Cross sections as you would use ball valves on each end of the cross section in the off position so then you could screw down into the Three cross sections. Those three sections then might get a little water but maybe two cuts in the cross pipe. Then all that other PVC will have air in it. But something tells me it's not too stable.

You don’t utilize the pipe cutters for cutting pipe, you use them.
