If they ever remaster/remake these games, I pray to God that they won't touch the original art style (unlike what Bluepoint did with Demon's Souls) and just update the graphics/add QoL features. Kawamori's designs are timeless. They looked sleek as hell in 1997, and they look cool as fuсk now. Gens 1-3 aesthetics are peak Armored Core.

@@draydra it really is, compared to other gen 3 games. It's a good one, but it's nowhere near what people make out of it. All the talk about the greatest oldgen experience, but all you actually get is a huge number of overtuned ac fights presented as missions ("oh what a fun mission, I sure hope there won't be a fifth in a row 2v1 fight"), a repetitive and unintuitive route system and the worst arena among gen 3 games. Oh, and don't forget the abysmal soundtrack. It's not hugely overrated like 6 or acfa (this one can actually rival its fame), more like it's moderately overrated.
Great opening...but for some reason, all i can think of is a line from Tony Stark in Civil War: "..he'll never realize his dream, because a building fell on top of him *while we were all KICKING ASS* !" War 🙁 AC does show it so well.
