So tight a groove, then the melody comes in over that and completely turns "Wow" into "Holy Mother!" Pete is now the touchstone of epic Steely Dan solo fingerstyle guitar playing, and so much more.
if it were not for pete, doyle, thom, muriel, buster b...andy m..we would all be a lot worse than we already are....ive met pete...he and all i mentioned are MO-FO
Thats cool...the bass notes incorporated in the melody line as well as multiple altered base chords. Nice technique. Did you study music theory?...do you take it off paper?.It was written in F, and the guitar was detuned a 1/2 step...do you agree?
That was pretty cool some nice chords in there, although funk/fingerpicking doesn't really make this song for me its still cool as, also like the hendrix style slides thrown in there very nice.

Rest in Peace Pete...you were definitely one of the good ones
So accomplished...and such good taste in songs. What a pleasure to listen.
WOW!! You never really hear what's going on in tune until you hear it played in some kind of solo/acoustic setting. VERY NICE, THANKS!!

Another amazing Pete piece... Amazing how he nails the spirit of Dean Parks' guitar AND Chuck Rainey's bass. Just magic.
As usual Pete does an amazing job arranging a familiar tune for guitar. The guy is amazing.

yea. It uses an e minor for vamp part, and you can see him making the standard e minor on the 7th fret.
