My god I got goosebumps all over. You have true passion and understanding for his films and it shows in your brilliant sense of pace in your editing. Bravo, my friend! Zulawski was a visionaire and a misunderstood genius. As a movie director myself he changed my life through his masterclasses of craftsmanship present in his body of work. May his spirit long live within us and the next generations to come! Salute!
Thank you for liking it, i feel honored. Zulawski is a badass director, his bold vision and bizzare approach of storytelling are nothing like anyone else.
Man, this video is incredible!!!! you can see in every detail of this montage the great love you have for this director and I don't blame you. I have only been able to see less than half of all his movies and the more I struggle to understand them, the more I fall in love with them. Without a doubt, Zulawski was one of the directors who managed to shape dreamlike stories with traces of the darkest instincts of the human being that manage to cross the borders of time and space.
I did watch Possession on tv quite a few years back. Other than the fading memories of that, I know nothing of Zulawski or his films. I watched this in hope of hearing about these things. I’ve got my eye on the Eureka box set coming up, particularly as I’ve wanted to see On a Silver Globe for a long time. The images you’ve posted are very striking, but otherwise I’m no better off, sadly. I’m not even very knowledgable about Polish directors despite Kieslowski being a great favourite and having seen quite a few Polanski films, too. I’ve only seen one Wajda. I may have seen others.
please do anyone knows who zulawski was inspired by ? i know that he was inspired by andrzej wajda's work , anyone know other directors, filming genres or styles that he was inspired by ??
@@EddieLensweiger can you name me some of the others too please ? My film studies thesis is on this subject so this can help me a lott because every single information counts . thank you very much.
