In this episode of Urban Debate, Psephologist Yogendra Yadav has joined anchor Shreya Dhoundial exclusively to discuss the Haryana Assembly Election Results. Yogendra Yadav says “The onus is on Congress to prove.. I would urge EC not to behave the way it has been behaving..” The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Trinamool Congress, both allies of the opposition INDIA bloc, criticized the Congress for its defeat to the BJP in the Haryana Assembly polls. They attributed Congress's loss to overconfidence, arrogance, and a sense of entitlement. In the results announced on Tuesday, the BJP won 48 seats, its best-ever performance, while Congress secured 37 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) won two seats, and three Independent candidates were victorious.
