I love Sweater Weather. I grabbed a few summery scents from Kringle's sale. Essentials, Citrus and Seagrass and Tropical Waters are so good. Their Citrus & Seagrass isn't grassy or tangy, but sweet and beachy. So pretty.
I just got my second Kringle in & picked up a few summer scent daylights. Needless to say, a few are going in my list to pickup in full size for summer 😁
I had the same reaction as you when I opened Succulents. I was hoping it would smell like a spa, or cause me to crave salad ingredients! I loved all the candles I ordered from Kringle’s pre-Christmas sale, and I have become a huge fan. So I placed a few after-Christmas sale orders, and I loved Wisteria. My initial thought was that it smelled like a perfume I have. I think you’re right, it might be Alien. My husband rarely comments on my candles or perfumes, but he tells me I smell good when I wear Alien. Of the many candles I ordered, I didn’t love Ol’ Saint Nick ( too Santa’s pipe, and made my eyes itch) and Christmas Nap ( sleeping puppy- it smells like wool with a vanilla I don’t care for). My last order was all wax melts to match my favorite candles. I’m retired, and wake up hours before sunrise, and while the coffee brews, I light a candle in the dark. When it’s time to extinguish it, I start melting the same scent so that it lingers all day and night. The next morning, I choose a different candle. It takes forever for me to finish a candle with this routine, but it adds such variety to my week. I have tons of partially burned candles ( hidden!) in my sewing room, which only a candle lover could understand, but I adore every one! You are to blame, Katie, for quite a few!
Yes, I enjoy burning different scents throughout the day, starting in the early morning. 😁 I’m glad you also think it resembles Alien. My mom wore a perfume like it, so it reminds me of her. 💕
It performed extremely well for me last year. It was one of the FEW that did. I am not paid by any brand. I’m a small channel who has never even received PR. I simply purchase with my family’s own money & share my experiences with products. Perhaps you should check out more of my candle content, particularly regarding Homeworx within the past few months? I think it will be quite obvious to you why I am finding the notion of an undisclosed sponsorship from the brand laughable.
What’s still welcome your reviews of deck the halls and sweater weather. I picked them up at the Macy’s sale too. Also have you had success returning burned candles at the TJ stores? I haven’t tried as I wasn’t sure if they would accept in that condition.
That Macy’s sale was too good to pass up. Because I’m a seasonal burner & the weather will be turning very Spring like in the next few weeks, I’ve put away those two candles for later this year, but they smell great on cold. I’m wondering if they’ll be stronger because of the time they get to cure🤔 I haven’t tried returning yet, but I believe others have said that they were able to.
Katie, here's some sad news: Woodwick large jars and Yankee Candle large jars are $34 each now. Sounds like desperation lol. This will be my 5th year burning candles, my favorite is Yankee, but have burned Woodwick, Scentworx, Goose Creek, Ecowix, and Wood Essence. I'm burning Yankee's Alpine Morning from their Mountain Holiday Collection, really like the citrus scent. Good throw. Happy Burning!
I heard that about Yankee raising their prices! I want to try more Yankee this year (they are the OG & what I remember my mom burning), but it’s going to have to be at a serious discount that I pick up more.
