This video is awesome! The 430 Fishabout looks like a great all-rounder and the Yamaha F60HP is perfect for powering it. I can't wait to come check it out at Brisbane Yamaha.
We just bought an 1980's Quintrex Fishabout (measures to 14ft) & it's a brilliant, it's got a Yamaha 50 2 stroke & it's a rocket. But seeing this little beauty, I want it. I just do.
Bought one of these last Christmas and absolutely love it! Would have come to you, but I'm located down in Sydney; planning on a move up to SE Queensland in the next couple of years though, so I'll definitely drop in to see ya when I'm ready for an upgrade...
@@BrisbaneYamahaHahaha, it was purchased during supply chain shortages when the dealer's only available propulsion options were a Mercury or a pair of oars... I would have rathered a Yammy on the back. 🤣
Hey guys Just wondering I’ve been looking at a few different quintrex’s but really like the 430 I don’t ever plan to use it for water sports as I have family with boats that fill that void To save alittle could a 40hp work with this boat or would it not be enough?
430 Fishabout is one of our largest sellers because it does everything but with a 40 it wouldn’t be the boat it is and will be unsellable used Don’t do it it’s a perfect boat with a 60 I would not sell you 430 topender or Fishabout with a 40 hp?
why is a Quintrex renegade 420 rated for 50hp but this fishabout 430 is rated for 60hp? they're basically the same length and the 50hp and 60hp are the exact same engine with the rpm restricted. The motors weigh the same, the boats are basically the same length but renegade only gets 50hp? can the renegade be re-rated to 60hp?
Yes and the 50 and 60 yamaha are sane weight It’s all a mathematical equation on volume and buoyancy weight The 430 is a lot more money and higher spec boat than renegade
Without doubt The best stacers have a 1990 Quintrex’s hull so they ride good But quintrex are another level of soft and dry ride Walk into a stacer dealer the first thing they say or “ it’s just like a quintrex” Just buy the quintrex better boat and way better resale
This guy is such a legendary Aussie. Good salesmen too
Best commentary on boats. Keep it up hehe

Absolute pearler of a boat… So much so, I customized the garage of my new house to fit it in.

Get the big guns out mate 💪
Great boat but why did the price go up almost 100% in 2 years
It’s 34k and it’s the new model pro model completely different to old 430 which could only take 40hp and was much smaller we sold them for 25 k

Id like to see an option for a bow mount electric on the 430 fishabout. Its the only thing holding me back
But the 430 topender
Can u do a 725 or a 760 Haines hunter

Great video. What’s the top speed?
60 something
You fit a tailfoil to the topender do you also supply the fishabout with one too
Not normally
the seating position of Fishabout brings the bow down

Could you sell to Thailand?
Yes but you have to organise freight from Australia
Why does Australia get all of the Fkn cool boats.
We make them for off shore use it seems all the alloy boats in USA eta are for fresh water
If we come down from the Sunny Coast and buy a 430 fishabout are you still doing the free first service?
Yes
如果能在台灣好市多賣,我訂1艘。
Love Taiwan
好期待台灣也有賣。
想買。
I had one with a 30, 60 would fly.
Your 430 was the previous model which was smaller and worked with a 40
@@BrisbaneYamaha Yes, you are correct, that was an older model. Quality knowledge too !
