Hello Sandra and Hello Sam! Wonderful show with so many beautiful projects, I loved them all and thoroughly enjoyed hearing you both talking about patterns, yarns, materials. Lovely ladies, lovely friendship!! Blessings to you both from Australia 😊❤️
@@CherryHeart yes, it shows how you two have such fun and creativity back and forth.. only thing missing is a lovely cup of tea and a biscuit 😄, but maybe that was after the show!x
So.good to see Sam, I have missed her and her makes. Pray she is doing well and happy Sandra the top is going to be beautiful. Love the colors you are using. It is a pleasure to see both of you and your makes. Sam I think you should a wrap(!). It is gorgeous and I would have loved to be able to do those stitches. Nether the less I will enjoy watching yours and Sandra's makes. Thank you for sharing and it was a lovely podcast. Many Blessings to the both of you. From South Carolina, USA.❤️👍😊
Hello! Your work is so beautiful! Every time I knit a mitten with colorwork I knit the work inside out, this helps me with the tension. You are both nice, beautiful, sweet and very talented lady’s. Lovely podcast! Have a nice weekend, love from Belgium, Lieve
So Lovely to see Sam Again such an Enjoyable Podcast. Sam’s crochet blanket is So Beautiful 😍 Loved seeing all the makes, your crochet top is so Pretty Sandra looking forward to seeing the progress on it. ❤
I can't even with all these wonderful projects! Lovely to see Sam again, and her blanket! I think I would hang it up as a tapestry. Sandra, your color changes for the Vintage Waves are so stunning! The "FAll version" I used LB Oh baby organic cotton and Patons Kroy socks for the contrast and it was indeed a self stripping. Your version is so beautiful I shall send good vibes for enough yarn. Tears of joy! I remember that Festival it was my first ever yarn festival I think it was 2017. Alot of yarn has been used since then. Such a thrill. Hugs to you and SAm!
Yes it would be beautiful on display somewhere wouldn’t it! Yes wasn’t it awesome in Edinburgh? As soon as I thought of your gorgeous yarn I knew it had to be part of this project. Just perfect and so special. Singers crossed the other yarn holds out or I will in for a super cropped version! 🤣. Although I love the idea of an autumn version as well. Humm, that opens up possibilities! 🤔
Such a lovely episode with you and Betsy loved the dress and crochet blanket that Betsy made. Thank you for your top tip about turning you magic loop inside out I will be trying that on my next colour work socks. Your crochet top is just amazing never crochet anything other than blankets, so looking forward to seeing it finished. I just love what you have done with your yarn on the shelves with warms on one side and cools on the other. couldn’t take my eyes off then, they are gorgeous ❤
So nice to see Sam again on TH-cam! She is missed by all her fans. The two of you are such an inspiration to me and everyone else. Hope she can come back again!
Well that was just a great podcast, so lovely to see Sam, I miss Sam’s podcasts, I hope you get together again. You are both so inspiring! Sam’s blanket it absolutely stunning 💕
The Talent between you both is magical !!!!!!! Sam's blanket belongs in a museum . Me thinks Bertie is a German Shepard in disguise 😁 Wonderful podcast Woof
I LOVE the rabbit mittens!!! I’ve never seen where there’s two different animals , one for each mitten. Love that ! The crochet blanket is breathtaking. I’ve never seen such a pretty thing!!!
So nice to see you two together!! I miss Sam’s podcasts. Beautiful creations!! Lovely mitts!! So tickled you’re crocheting Clarisabeth’s (@crochetcakes) wonderful pattern. I follow her and think she is so creative and super sweet. Your color choices are amazing as always!!! 🧶💕🧶
Lovely English podcast, great to see a range of skills and projects. I've always knitted inside out on circular projects, didn't know it wasn't a thing until other knitters pointed it out😂
Thank you ladies for a wonderful podcast. It was lovely to see both your smiling faces and to see Sam again. You both are very talented and it's always lovely to see all what your making and have made. Love Marion xxx
This was such a great video to watch, so,lovely to see gorgeous Sam! You really persevered through technical issues, dogs and neighbours, well done! That blanket by Sam was stunning 🤩 xx
So lovely to see Sam on the screen again. I used to love watching her podcasts on my train commutes home. The Fruit Garden blanket was just so beautiful that I just had to buy the book. Your jumper will be absolutely stunning. I may get the pattern. Have never made a crocheted garment but hopefully it won’t be too complicated. Currently hand sewing a quilt as you go hexie blanket and have become obsessed with finishing it. I dread to think how many hours I have spent on it but I think it will be so worth it in the end. Sam’s dress is so lovely and really suits her. Beyond my machine sewing skills for now. May go to a lady who teaches garment sewing to get going on making clothes. Love the outtakes at the end. Please make another Betsy Special in the future. A Christmas one would be brilliant (nothing like planning ahead😂). Lesley x
Ahh I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I really miss Sam’s podcast too so this was a treat for me as well. I hope we get to do another one before too long. I agree that Fruit Garden blanket is just stunning, I admit I was very tempted too. I think it would be interesting just to read about Jane’s inspiration as well as having it for all the pattern info. That’s a great idea, to get a sewing tutor. I think that’s what I need too. I keep intending to start and then procrastinate! I am very much in awe of Sam’s skills that’s for sure! ❤️
Hi Sandra and Sam. Lovely to see you both and your pretty makes. I loved Sam’s dress and Sandra’s crochet top. I need to put that pattern in my queue 😊
This was absolutely delightful! Such a lovely conversation between two ultra-talented crafters! The projects were all beautiful and very well described. I love the dress (don't shorten it), the mitts, the ornaments, the blanket the Vintage Waves Top. I probably forgot something but each item was completely beautiful. 💕
The Fruit Garden blanket by Janie Crowfoot has been on my "to make" list since the pattern was first released. It's a stunning blanket and one that certainly tests the crochet skills, which is always fun.
It was so lovely to see Sam , I hope you can do more episodes together in the future. Gorgeous makes in particular the blanket I’m in awe of how wonderful it is.
Hi Sandra. Oh my...this episode is going to get me into trouble. I had seen the Fruit Garden when it was a CAL. I told myself "Zelf...nope...don't need it." And I was doing things like Ziggy Interrupted. 😊 And I was thinking of the dark version so when I saw the blanket that @betsymakes is doing...sigh. I am looking for a kit now. 😮😂 Watching podcasts can be dangerous. The sweater is going to be beautiful and short sleeves will look nice over a long sleeve t-shirt too. Happy crafting 🧶
Ha ha! I know exactly what you mean. I’m still working through my Vlogmas inspired projects and now Sam comes out with that blanket! I’m quite tempted I have to say! ❤️❤️
@@CherryHeart If you start it then I definitely have to start it. I could never watch yours taking form on your podcast and not do it. I have started the heirloom blanket by Cypress Textiles which is also some intricate crochet hexies. I love crocheting that challenges.
Ha ha, yep I get that. It’s like our resistance gets worn down with repeated viewings! 🤣 Ooh your blanket sounds lovely, she makes so many gorgeous patterns too. 🩷
Wonderful podcast. Love your Fruit Basket Blanket. I crochet the Love is Enough Blanket and would love to make another one. Love all the mitts and sweater.
Addi make similar needles to the HiyaHiya ones called Addi CraSyTrio. I've been using them exclusively to knit my socks for about 5 years, I love them. Sam's dress was beautiful! And those spring decorations 🤩 if find somewhere to hang them up all spring.
@@CherryHeart It's fun to get back into crochet, but I'm a little rusty on some things. I love that Jane has tutorials to help us all out. I love your little craft room and am trying to get my husband to do the same in our yard.
Yes I was so impressed by how thorough Jane’s pattern was. She’s so clever. Oh I hope your husband comes through for you, that would be very exciting! ☺️❤️
A lovely episode and so nice to see Sam again - I really miss her podcasts but totally understand why she is unable to commit to them at the moment. One day, hopefully, she may return.
I made that pattern two years ago and ended up cutting off the bottom, turning it into a top instead of a dress. It is very comfortable and I adore the collar/neckline, but I will not be making that pattern again -- too many gathers.
Not that it matters at all, but Isager is a Danish brand (same area of Denmark as where I'm from) and it's pronounced 'Eees-a-yerh'. I know English people always worry about pronunciation, but please know that "the rest of us" don't really mind at all if you get it a bit wrong ;)
Welcome back, Sam🎉

The Talent between you both is magical !!!!!!! Sam's blanket belongs in a museum . Me thinks Bertie is a German Shepard in disguise 😁 Wonderful podcast Woof

Hello friend ❤❤❤
I made that pattern two years ago and ended up cutting off the bottom, turning it into a top instead of a dress. It is very comfortable and I adore the collar/neckline, but I will not be making that pattern again -- too many gathers.
Betsymakes was the very first TH-cam broadcast I ever watched - so Sam it is allllll your fault :D xxx

Ahh thank you, that’s kind! I’m sure you are right but it’s also nice to have some idea of what I’m aiming for so thank you for that! ☺️☺️❤️
You could do a 4 month video together and then you would have heaps to say and show and tell.
