We hear that often in dramas, when mamas ask their daughter to accompany the guest out ... but not all the way home! Chinese politeness. And the following sentences after the snippet can apply as well, for politeness.

No matter by walking or by driving.If want to emphasize by driving ，we can say“开车送你” but by walking we usually don't emphasize. (2) second one is kind of like what you said，to be polite，just go together with the customers（for your house's guest or business situations both OK）and see them to leave，we can say “我送您 or 我送你”
@@canachinese1122 I have a tendency to just drop the "wo", which is often implied when we talk like that. Even in English, I will just say "Watching this or that" instead of emphasizing that "I am watching..." Colloquially, the wo is not that much heard, from what I remember... Or just swallowed !
