This dude reminds me of when my dad was young. He held 2 degrees, Electrical engineer and Aeronautical Engineer. He was also a master maxhinist, he could make anything you wanted. At one point in his career he was making obsolete aircraft engine parts, parts that could not be found anywhere in the world. Jordan is well on his way to being that way, his attitude and knowledge allow him to make and do incredible stuff. Good work man, I truly look forward to your videos.
Pretty involved process but glad to know this kind of damage can be fixed especially considering they aren't aking any more of these heads. Excited to get my MHS refreshed heads back!
Hey Jordan, can you make a video of basically who you are, what got you started, your training, family and such. Your a very knowledgeable dude, I do not think people that watch these videos realize just how damn smart you are, alot of what you do cannot be from a book, it is derived from between the ears, intuition and just crazy fucking brain power.
@@Lethal_Venom yeah, viewed that one but a more recent would be good. This dude is so nonchalant he is hard to read it would be interesting to get his take on how things are going now. What made him want to do this, did her run into crappy work and decided the best way to change it is to own his own shop?, and the CNC skills are not just out of a book, not to mention the theory behind his work, that shit comes from somewhere. Smart dude.
@@michaelkennedy2528 I've talked to him on the phone before, and he was more than willing to go over things in detail, and will go the extra lengths to server you. Bought my cams from him at 6pm, and he personally took them to the UPS shipping office that night, and was sitting at my doorstep in 2 days. Great customer service.
Have you received tracking or any info on when you should receive your short block? I place an order for comp cams on his site Feb 1st and still haven't received any tracking, I called & all they tell me it's on the way.
It is an o-ring that is cut into the block and/or cylinder head. Can be copper or steel, lots of old school guys used piano wire because it is spiral wound. It sticks up 2-5 thou (depending on the engine builder and whether a copper or MLS head gasket is used) and it pinches the head gasket when the head is torqued down.
“Y’all ready for this”
Should be apart of every intro from now on

Love the videos! Jordan will take the time to go over the smallest details over the phone, excellent guy in my book.
Wish it wasn’t so much to ship from WV to Florida.. I’d send my heads and cams down for a freshen up/degree service. Love MHS and their videos
Wouldn't want to arm wrestle Jordan. Dude is a little tank.
That was very interesting. I didn’t even realize you could remove the seats like that! I thought they were simply cut into the head. Kool!

Amazing work Jordan!!!
I just placed an order a couple days ago for one of your 1000 HP coyote short blocks. I am super looking forward to running it.

Top notch Jordan!! Looking forward to having some bad ass MHS heads under the hood for 2021!! Happy New Year to you and your crew!
What about cam journal wear? Is something that can be repaired in a cost effective method?
Hey Jordan do you know any good 4.6 2v shops in or around Maryland
Hey boss. Is the exhaust seat issue also seen in 99 c heads ?
Jordan✌️. Can you explain what is fire ring?. I heard something about a special jobs on the cylinder head.
Supposed to make a better seal between the block and heads
